Spend a bit more for something better
These are inexpensive, but they only amplify a narrow frequency band. You'll hear the high pitch of flatware clinking against a plate, but actually reduce the volume of anything of lower pitch, like an ordinary male voice. Also, battery needs a recharge after about 2 hours. Fits my ear canal, but I'm a big guy who wears a size 8 hat (XXXL).

Hearing aids
They help making the television sound clearer but I can only wear one or I can’t hear anyone else talking when the tv is on. The price was great but I won’t wear them when I’m not watching tv.

I think these will be really helpful for watching tv. My hearing loss is slight but I don’t like to turn the tv up so loud. These aids will work well for me.
