Tracfone Galaxy a14 5g
Great phone. I'm impressed by the speed of the processor and battery life. Vivid screen picture and finger print sensor works without issue. I had an a23 5g. I was not impressed. Sure the camera took amazing photos. Better than the a14 5g. But that was the only thing better. On sale at $99. Best galaxy I've owned since the a11.

Excellent Phone
Easy to use and well made. Clear, logical flow of setup and data transfer. Fine for my needs and well worth the money. Excellent user manual.

Great phone, but still has lots of bloatware.
I bought 2 to replace our galaxy A51's. Probably easy to operate because these are our 3rd galaxy phones. The camera & video recorder are superlative. To me it's worth it just for that. There are many more good features, but yeah, there is the bloatware. Over 400 apps are pre-installed. 2 things about that. 1. There are other apps superior to some of Samsung's I prefer & that I'm used to. 2. You can't get rid of the ones you don't like/won't use. That raises another problem because the A14 has only half the storage capacity of the A51. At the same time it irritates me that it's forever trying to put my non Samsung apps into deep sleep. It's crucial that some of them stay enabled. I play zero games, but whenever sam updates my phone they like to throw a couple in. Most of them are system apps otherwise. It threw me off to see it required a USBC to USBC cable and the special charging block didn't come with it. Fortunately my brother had an extra.

Very good phone for the price
I bought two Samsung Galaxy A14 phones (locked to Tracfone) to replace our older Samsung Galaxy phones and charged them both up before starting the activation process. The quick start guide says to “insert the SIM card” into the tray (using the special tool they give you). You don’t need a physical SIM card. The tray is actually empty and there is no SIM card with the phone, probably because this phone is locked to Tracfone (SIM card information is written into the phone’s memory). It does not come with a charger or cord (not big deal because I have plenty of these) but does come with a USB-C to USB-C data transfer cable.Everything from my old phones transferred over to the new phones with no real issues using the Samsung Smart Switch app and a USB-C to USB-C data transfer cable (I used my own shorter cable, not the one they supplied). Text messages, contacts, apps, settings etc. transfer over from the old phone to the new phone. Be patient, this may take perhaps 10 to 15 minutes. Then it will take several minutes for the phone to unpack and install everything once transferred. I suspect some apps are automatically updated if necessary. Have your passwords ready for WIFI, Google, email, and other password protected apps etc. Once I got my WIFI, Google, and email accounts connected, I went into my existing Tracfone account and clicked on the Activate Phone tab. It then asks you if you want a new phone number or want to keep your old phone number. I kept my old numbers. Have the IMEI number ready that’s printed on the red card included with the phone. Enter the information and the phone number transfer usually takes only a few minutes. The new phone has to be restarted after the old phone stops working for the change to take place.I’m very satisfied with the phones I bought. They are inexpensive and do everything I want them to do and more.

Works great
This phone is very easy to use and I had no problem figuring out what to do. I wish I could have kept my ring tone from my old Tracfone but that was the only thing that I wished I could have retained.

Beware
The phone is locked to tracfone. That wasn't the problem. I've been with Tracfone for awhile. The problem is that this phone was an upgrade from the A11. I have had trouble from day 1 with phone and customer service. First, they had trouble porting the number over to the new phone....it's a Tracfone number! Second, after the phone was finally changed over I had to call back because I couldn't receive any picture texts, screen shots, or images. I went back and forth with them everyday for an entire week. They kept sending me to a "Higher Department " that never resolved my issue. Sometimes the process required me to contact them again after a full 24 hours. Thirdly, they stated that I am experiencing so many problems because I have no data left in my plan. I did, but I played along because I had already been a week without a phone. I bought a plan with a credit card 💳 over the phone. Then went to a trouble shooting process that requires me to call again in 24 hours. Lastly, when I called back after 24 hours as instructed the agent told me again that I have no data & she doesn't see where I paid. I offered to send proof. The agent told me with attitude to take it up with my banking institution. I did and the claim got denied. Anyway, after of all of this. I don't have my issue resolved. 😕
