The best £50 I ever spent.
I used to have an overly complicated apple watch that had lot's of features that most people wouldn't use in their lifetime, including me.This watch is far more user friendly and it just has features that are actually useful, battery life is incredible 11 days is not an exaggeration. The watch supports 4 different types of GPS and it picks up a satelite signal before I can get out of my garden gate.Distance is very accurate as well. The screen is large and easy to read outside and it has some amazing watch faces,my favourite at the moment is a Mr Bean watchface. The Zepp app that syncs with the watch is very user friendly and has a lot of useful information about your workouts etc,way better that a certain company's health app.How they can produce a smartwatch like this for the £50 I paid defies belief. And if you think this is a young persons smartwatch, well I had it setup and singing and dancing in about 15 minutes and I'm 73 years old!!.

A great budget smart watch
I have used many smartwatches over the years, ranging from cheap to higher end ones. The Amazfit Bip 5, I honestly couldn't recommend enough. I have owned the early Motorola's, Samsung Galaxy watches, early Amazfits (which wasn't great) to my latest which was a Huawei GT2 Elite which I loved for over 2 years. For some reason the Huawei stopped working when I changed phones. So I looked around a lot, read lots of different reviews websites etc. I was going to get a Galaxy watch 5 but decided it was a bit too expensive for my needs.I'm not a sporty person or go to a gym this has 4 GPS's which is good for that (Apparently). I wanted a smart watch that had them things but also did notifications well, had an answer your phone function. Had a decent battery life and had other features that you come to expect from smartwatches. I can honestly say that this watch is a bargain at £90, it honestly is equal to and out performs better brand watches I have had and I couldn't be happier with it. Don't be put off by the TFT screen, I was but I thought I would buy it and see what it was like. It is a good quality screen. It's a big screen, easy to use and navigate, everything is at your finger tips. I've had no problems with accuracy in relation to heart rate and steps as well as oxygen monitoring. It looks nice, it literally packs the majority of features of a high end smart watch into a budget price . But the experience is anything but budget. The only negative I have found is the battery life isn't as good as advertised but it is still better than most out there, I'm getting around 5 days, but that could be because I'm checking it more as it's new. It also doesn't have wireless charging but that's not something that bothers me at all. I have a phone that does wireless and I still charge the same way.If you don't want to spend a fortune but want a watch that can answer calls and have all the exercise features and other features of other high end ones (this has games!!!!) then go for the Bip 5.

Pleased with this
It's a good budget smart watch/activity tracker. Looks good. Battery lasts well...less so if you have automatic activity recognition on then it will turn on GPS pretty much every time you go for a walk, and that definitely bring down battery life. Fits comfortably. Lots of different functions. I thought being able to answer calls on it was a bit gimmicky but it has proved a useful function a few times. And it's fun to be able to use Alexa. Three gripes: 1. If you do a high energy activity like a spin class it will only register or add your calorie burn for the activity to your daily burn if you record a workout. 2) GPS can take a few minutes to lock on. 3) If you use the Hive skill in Alexa to let's say boost the hot water, it locks in that skill and you can't ask/do anything other than Hive stuff. You have to go into the Alexa app to kind of reset. Don't know if this is the same for other skills.

Amazfit Bip 5, a well specified smartwatch at a reasonable price.
I bought this watch because I wanted to accurately track my exercise routine. The watch includes many workouts which I won't use, but those I do use are easy to set and the information recorded is quite detailed. The watch links to the Zepp App, which you need to download to your phone. It takes regular health readings and has a sedentary warning (telling you to stand and move about, which some may find annoying, but it can be turned off). It also records your sleep pattern and displays a graph and other insights in the app. I like to walk and the watch/ app records a fairly accurate map of the route taken, distance travelled, number of steps taken, pace and heart rate (average and peak). The battery has lasted ten days between charges but that would vary depending on how you set up the watch. In conclusion, I recommend this watch but would suggest that you read the reviews before purchasing. This would appear to be superior to the earlier versions which are now a lot cheaper on Amazon.
