Pegasus PG8803-1/18 V-1 Flying Bomb Kit

First of all,this is the only large scale kit of the v1. When finished, length is nearly 15 inches. It's well moulded, and you won't need much filler as there are only twelve parts! That said, the decals are accurately printed, showing a production version which carried no insignia. Standard green top side and light blue underside. I got mine for around £24, which I thought was a fair price.

Poor Packaging but fortunately the model was not dammaged. At the Beginning there was also a problem to get it to Main Europe.

Arrival date was between the 16th and 25th of October but came way earlier, 9 days earlier actually.Supermart USA are pretty good at getting your stuff here to the UK earlier than stated.Right, to the kit itself.Even if you're crap at making kits this one will be no problem at all.There's only 12 parts to it and very few decals, oh and its BIG.The parts look cleanly molded and the only bit of flash is on the sprues and none on the parts themselves.The only thing is you'll need plenty of paint but its only two colours and clear coat of your choice.They are RLM71 and RLM65 which are dark green and light blue respectively.The kit rattles about like hell due to the few parts in the big box, only 2 sprues.One of the back wings was detached from the sprue on arrival but no biggy considering its come half way round the planet.Should look like a pretty impressive model when painted as its around 16 inches long (48cm approx). No trolley to mount it or display it on though.

Shipping took forever. Ordered well before Christmas but didn't make it. Great size for detail, get this if you're a fan of the V-1s!

Bausatz war pünktlich da.Leichter Zusammenbau und gute Passgenauigkeit.Keine Farben und Kleber dabei aber war ja auch bekannt. Ist empfehlenswert.

Model was a little pricey....

Nice large-scale kit.The kit is typical Pegasus quality, meaning good.Very little or no flash. No sink marks.Parts fit is good. Assembles well.Good value.

this particular buzz bomb was later adapted by the US Navy for experimental use aboard our first nuclear sum. It was designatedThe JB Loon, and was painted yellow.
