Pros- comfy, modern, good quality, heavy-ish but not too sturdy, goes well with small dining table (36 inch also purchased from Amazon)Cons- could be sturdier, really long delivery time and poor communication on eta of arrival (which isn’t great if you live in apartment complex) also defffff a two person assembly needed

Beautiful chairs! Super easy to assemble (approx 15 min per chair). One of the screw holes had a small shard of cain threaded into it that had to be partially cut out with a knife and then just squished in with the bolt during assembly. It was a minor set back, but very quick and easy to remedy once we realized why that specific bolt wouldn't thread in. Chairs feel extremely sturdy and my extremely picky, former college football lineman of a husband has miraculously given these chairs his stamp of approval for comfort!! It's nearly impossibly to find comfortable, tasteful chairs these days that don't jab you in the back or hurt your butt (while still staying on budget). These truly fit the bill and are shockingly more beautiful in person than in the pictures.

We LOVE our set of 8 velvet olive green chairs! Easy to assemble and they are sturdy and fit perfectly with our Eldoe Finch couch! Thanks again for the great product!

I want to start with this: I love these chairs. They are super comfortable, they look fantastic, they are sturdy, and affordable. I am potty training a toddler who accidentally peed on one the day after we got them and it didn't even soak into the fabric. (I spot cleaned anyway but it literally made no difference; the fabric seemed completely unaffected; no smell, no stain.)One of the chairs (of the four we bought) had slightly uneven holes for the backrest, so it looks the tiniest bit crooked, but it isn't noticeable from afar/at certain angles. On another chair, the caning is slightly angled up diagonally, while the rest are lined up horizontally. Again, it's a small, barely noticeable detail, and doesn't truly detract from their beauty, but keep in mind if you are someone who is nitpicky about small imperfections.Again, I love these chairs. Worth the money.

These chairs are pretty cool, the quality is okay. The box they came in was torn on one side and the box itself was pretty smashed up. Once I opened it, one chair’s pieces were wrapped up and had its screws in a bag, while the other was not wrapped and its screws were just thrown in the box. There were missing screws (probably fell out of the tear on the box), reached out to customer service and they gave me a discount so I could find the screws elsewhere. The holes on the 2nd chair did not line up so I can’t screw the two metal pieces together and the chair is basically being held together by the cushion. One cushion has a deep scratch, as though a knife cut through the top part of the velvet, one of the cushions has torn fabric on the bottom, the straw piping that frames the caning has an obvious seam wi a small piece sticking out, and the screws strip rather easily.Overall, they look good, the color of the cushions is great (I got mine in green), and they’re easy enough for one person to put together without instructions (they just require a bit of strength as other reviewers mentioned). Despite the defects, I’m keeping them because I’ve already put them together and can’t get the screws out (they’ve stripped) so I can’t break them down or re-package them, and it would be too much of a hassle to return them and wait for new ones, anyway. Also assuming all sets will come with some sort of IKEA-type quirk/damage/defect. I will also note that the defects on my chairs aren’t things anyone else will notice (unless they fall apart when someone sits on them) so I figure I can live with them and just seat my skinny friends on them.The caning is lighter than that of my authentic Cesca chairs, but that contrast actually looks good with the amazon chairs as my head chairs, and they cost way less than the real ones. I would say they should be less than half the price they are now since they’re the same quality as IKEA furniture but more of a hassle to return!

i’ve been holding on to these chairs for months in my “save for later” and finally decided to buy them when the olive color was back in stock! i’m glad i bought them because they’re beautiful! quality is great! i wish they would come back with more colors!!! i’ll definitely buy more. also i wish there was an option to buy just one and not a pair. or just have both options available 😊

Not sturdy, unnecessarily tricky to assemble, and have an odor coming from cushions. Save your time and money and get a different chair set.
