Not quite as advertised, but close.
While it may not be blackened (as shown in the picture), it is still a fairly sturdy feeling, not-unsightly stick. Should function well enough, even if it doesn't look like it was supposed to.

Lovely stick
As each stick is an individual it's a little pointless trying to find fault in an entirely natural product. But this is a solid bit of blackthorn which has been cut and tempered to the right length. Looks smart enough to cut across Hyde Park with, as well as trips to Ireland!

Sorry I don't like leaving negative feedback but this item is very overpriced. The quality isn't good at all not genuine blackthorn not impressed. Save your money or shop elsewhere.

It's a grand auld walking stick, but that's all it feels like is a stick, for the price of it I'd expect it to be a bit thicker, I wouldn't trust it to hold much weight.
