There is one fault with this device on some boards that customers should be aware of... When switching over from stock to garlic OS for the first time the device will not boot past the boot screen. The solution is to disconnect the battery for 15 seconds. Personally I just replaced garlic with batocera, as I didn't want to open a new device. It is a budget device so it isn't as powerful as some you tubers would have you believe... However, through batocera the system clock can be increased to something acceptable.

This worked great for the first few weeks then the screen started to leech, and now it looks as it does in the pictures and its getting worse and worse. This happened just outside the window for return and because of Amazon's complicated nonsensical returns and faults process you are told to go here or there to no avail. You're told to contact the supplier so I sent them (AIRUI) a message approximately 1 month ago and they still haven't got back to me to replace, repair or refund so now I have a quite upset 10 year old as I cant afford to replace it.So beware, the unit might last a few months if your lucky but you wont get any help from Amazon or the supplier to get it sorted.V poor show, wont be using Amazon again for anything like this.

I got this for my daughter and am really impressed with it.There is a vast range of games, including many popular well known titles.The screen quality is outstanding, I was really shocked by how good it is, and I’m quite a snob over such things.Very well put together and feels very strong.Would definitely buy again for someone else.

I bought two of these as Christmas gifts for two of my boys. The items arrived well packaged with their respective cases. I've taken them both out and they are spotless and work very well. The installed OS is nothing to write home about, but GarlicOS is available on the web and provides a much better solution for those that wish to tinker.Having said that, the UI is clean, and the item has a lot of games pre-installed, so for those looking for out of the box playability, this has it in spades.The screen is small but of excellent quality and the 4:3 ratio displays the installed games perfectly. The sound is typically not as good, given the size of the device, but a cheap pair of headphones will improve that easily.This is an ideal device to revisit some classic games, and it's small enough to be able to fit in a pocket, which makes it the perfect travel companion if you spend time on busses/trains to work/school.Thoroughly recommended.

So the handheld looks and feels great. You’re going to be buying this for nostalgia and it has it in buckets and the lack of analogue in this sense is irrelevant. I really like the device but have some caveats that I would hope the seller takes on board.It charges fine but makes a rather strange popping noise though it’s never got hot or been a cause for concern.The games didn’t all work and out of concern I backed up the memory card to another which wasn’t easy as I’ve lost touch with tech and on my pc it appears as several different drives. After the backup more games didn’t work so I feel the choice of storage may be a bit on the cheap side. Either way I would back it up and source your own games as needed

I got this as I loved the GBA games and wanted to relive some of them childhood memories. I’ve had it a few weeks now and so far, so good, the screen is nice and bright and the games all look great on the screen plus the sound quality is also better than I expected.Most of the games I remember are on the memory card and I’ve loved playing advanced wars and rising sun again. Any games that are missing are easy enough to find online and download to the memory card.The only one issue if I had to pick something is the back buttons rattle a bit, but this doesn’t affect the overall playability. It’s a great little handheld and 5 out of 5 from me.
