Had fun building with my 4th grader built it in a total of 10 hours between 2 days came out kinda crooked but satisfied with results. Will recommend if you have patience there is no written explanations on what to do next just picture diagrams but we were able to understand. Has many extra pieces left over.

I am not going to fib and say that we have finished this yet. I ordered this as a summer project for my daughter and I to work on together as the days were too hot to play outside. Sometimes. We got a really good start on it but between vacations and summer camps and visiting friends, we simply did not have the time to get back to it. My mission is to finish it this winter when the weather gets a little colder and we spend some of the days indoors. Is incredibly detailed and so far, been really fun to start putting together. It is truly brick by brick and it does take a while to do. My daughter is 9 but she is a Lego genius and even though not the same thing It's still building which is something that she adores. I got its own slab of wood too. Throw down just to make it easier to move around when we needed to. It's got a nice box where you can keep the pieces together while you are using them. We put this upstairs in our bonus room and it's kind of just hanging out there. Until we get back to it. We will get back to it, but you must realize that this is not a 2-hour project! Great quality and a brand new way to do things. I am really enjoying this.

Yay! The 3D, 1255 piece, 'puzzle of all puzzles' arrived in great shape with all the pieces our family needs to construct this important piece of California culture, weather permitting.
