Good quality and easy to set up and use.
Easy to set up, and mount. The picture wuality is pretty good, as is the night vision. Detects movement at a reasonable distance. Very satisfied. Have decided to purchase more in the same ecosystems. Battery was on course to last about a month in the Winter. Handy not having to wire in directly.

Great peace of mind and really clever, especially when used with the Hub.
We bought this along with the doorbell, hub and and internal camera. They are amazing, the camera detects movement and identifies whether that's caused by an animal, human or vehicle. The facial recognition is brilliant, accurately identifying who's there. It's mounted in a corner of our garden that doesn't get much sun, so will need to be removed for charging. But that's really easy to do. Perhaps too easy, as the camera could be stolen. Eufy offer a number of options for storage of footage: - Store on camera alone, so if the camera is taken the footage is lost. Though it can be downloaded remotely to a mobile device. - Store footage on the Hub which has the additional benefit of tracking movement across cameras. This gives some additional security in that footage is backed up away from the camera. It also delivers the AI for facial recognition and geofencing (more on that later). - Using a susbcription to upload to Eufy cloud. As far as I can tell, there are weak points in all of these approaches. For cloud attached devices, cutting the phone line going into the house would disable the camera. Whereas, the Eufy hub will still maintain footage. But the Eufy hub could be stolen. You pays your money and takes your choice. We chose the Hub as there's no monthly subscription. The Geofencing option automatically switches modes when you leave home with your phone. It can be configured so that multiple phones need to leave the zone in order to switch between "home" and "away" modes. In summary: The picture quality is great. They were really easy to install. The motion detection and AI is spooky, particularly for a cheap home camera. Really easy to setup on our devices. We'd moved to a new house, in a safe area, but had no alarm fitted. The EUFY setup gave us great peace of mind whilst away on holiday for a couple of weeks. Great product!

Solar cameras....easy install with fantastic pictures
Excellent camera quality, easy to set up and install, charge within 5 hours which is great. The downside is the solar during winter time does not really charge it up so deduction in battery life for me is roughly 15% a day and maybe a 2% at best solar charge. Mines been up for 3 weeks and its ready to be taken down for its 3rd charge. So have them accessible with a ladder to take them down. My area is high traffic so my battery will deplete more than areas that may be quiet. They look great and it gives me a peace of mind after a friends van was stollen from outside my house. My internet provider is Plusnet and no issues with connecting.

Great self sufficient smart camera!
So I’ve had this up exactly 3 months (31-10-24 to 31-01-25) throughout winter months so only around 8/9 hours daylight and even less sun. When I installed the camera it had 72% as I didn’t have the patience to let it fully charge first. 3 months later, it still has 31% left and this is with no power saving modes activated and fully optimised for surveillance. It was really easy to install and has a good picture quality and great sound quality. It can be taken down and charged by mains but I think as soon as longer sunnier days come the camera will soon top itself back up and charge a lot more than it has been. It’s definitely helped us feel more secure in our new house and just helps make sure we don’t miss anyone coming to the house etc. It can sometimes be delayed sending notifications and has in a few cases not picked up any movement at all. From tapping on a notification it generally loads up within 5-10 seconds but can be slower depending on internet connections. I do have this installed with the solar panel facing the sun (south) for best results. Overall I really like this camera and for a camera that is completely wireless and doesn’t need to be taken down for charging I think it performs really good and is excellent value for money. I’d like one for my rear garden however that doesn’t get sunlight and so I don’t think this camera would be suitable for that just for reference. Unless you didn’t mind taking it down and charging every few months. *UPDATE* Had this camera up for 472 days now and it’s still working as good as the day I got it, seen high temps, very low temps, drenched by weeks of rain, covered in snow and still had no issues. Not once! I’ve never had to take it down to charge it, it gets fairly low by the time winter is over but soon charges back up with a bit of sun! I’m very very impressed by this camera! Excellent purchase. (I added an updated screenshot too) Camera is currently on 37% mid Feb, and I think was last on 100% in October

Reliable, Clear, and Truly Worry-Free Security
The eufy Security SoloCam S220 has impressed me from the moment I set it up. Installation was quick and straightforward, and the built-in solar panel is a game changer. As long as the camera gets a bit of daylight, it stays fully charged — no cables, no battery swaps, and no maintenance. It really does offer continuous power just as advertised. The 2K resolution is excellent, producing crisp and clear video both during the day and at night. Faces, car number plates, and movement are all easy to identify. The motion detection is responsive without being too sensitive, and notifications come through quickly on the app. One of the biggest advantages is no monthly fees. All footage is stored locally on the device, and I can view it anytime without worrying about subscriptions — something many other brands don’t offer. The camera connects via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, which provides a stable connection, and the eufy app is easy to use, with intuitive controls and good customisation options for detection zones and activity alerts. Overall, the SoloCam S220 is a top-quality outdoor security camera that delivers great performance, energy efficiency, and peace of mind. If you want a reliable wireless camera that you can set up and then forget about, this is a fantastic choice.

Cannot recommend Eufy
Had these for nearly a year and a half now and I cannot recommend. Pros - easy to install and the solar panels keep it charged well in the summer (direct sunlight only). Cons - they miss so many activities at the front and side of my house, I will often come home and no notifications of any activity. When I go into the app it often says "no events" or "failed to load clips". On the occasions when it has recorded it says decrypting, loads for a while and nothing happens, i then have to click play again to actually view it. I think on one occasion Eufy must have had server issues as I could not get on to any of my cameras, which is a bit odd considering they save to an internal SD card - something to watch out for! I will look for some wired cameras to replace these at some point.

Great camera But
Since I left the review below Eufy have reached out to help solve my problems with this camera , I have been so impressed with the time and care Eufy have spent on resolving my problems that I have now added to this review. Thanks to the help from Eufy my camera is now working as it should the quality of this camera was never in doubt the fix is is about the positioning, the height ,the angle ,the settings and trial and error, I really enjoyed getting this right , so I would recommend this camera and Eufy as a company I was surprised that they had read my review and acted on 5 stars all round. Had this for 2wks now ,good points easy to set up and install ,battery life seems to be very good and picture is excellent. It is very good quality and seem very robust, but it misses more events than it gets. I have tried everything in the settings on the app every tips on the internet but it seems this is a common flaw , I’ve had it a different heights ,moved it to different positions, different angles, straight on , to the side ,tilted up tilted down but make no difference ie it can pick up a small sparrow flying past but not a car driving past , does not pick a person until halfway down my driveway regardless of how I set it up, I had a cheat tapo camera which picked up every event so I’m a wee bit disappointed, nevertheless it is a good camera and a deterrent and maybe a future update will fix the flaws so I’m keeping this camera
