Good manga, bad story
My rating is for the manga as a product, the rating reflects the quality of the print, the cover, translation, etc.-As a product, I think this manga is great. It's well printed, good size, the quality of the paper is good for the price, the images were printed in high quality ink, you can see all details, no smudges or fading blacks. Good paper cover that isn't flimsy, overall, good.-As a story, my rate for it would be zero stars. If you like the original CCS story, the sequel is, at best, pointless, and at worst, a disservice to the original CCS. Volume 1 starts with an interesting premise, however, it suffers already from an issue that plagued CLAMP since Tsubasa, which is heavy handed use of "mystery" to drive the plot forward. Half the plot of Clear Card could've been solved by characters simply talking to one another, but instead, they decide to withhold information due to illogical reasons or based on wild assumptions. Some of the events in this manga also only happen due to plot convenience and it retcons several facts of the original CCS in order to deliver this mediocre plot.-I also note that, if you're a CLAMP fan, this manga destroys the male character designs (but less so than the anime adaptation, which is a crime). CLAMP's design naturally changed with time, and is now more rounded than their older works, which had a very angular and sharp design. The result is that characters who are shorter and young (i.e. children) look great in this style because it favours softer and more delicate looks, but butchers characters who are older and have more masculine features. Touya, Fujitaka and Yue look objectively younger here than in CCS, despite being older in canon time. They also don't look like themselves, but rather fanart of themselves, having look their sharp angles.

Cardcaptor Sakura is back!
I've never read a Manga before but I loved the show back in my teens. First the awful American dubbed version, then that led me to the wonderfully endearing japanese anime.I'm soo happy CLAMP has decided to renew this series! It hits all the nostalgia buttons and thus far has me gripped. Can't wait to see how the story evolves from here. Xxx

Amazing.
Oh man. It's all my dreams come true and more. I grew up with this manga / anime series and it was truly my most favourite thing as a child. Now, as a fully fledged adult, this new book takes me back and fills me with glee, just as the previous ones did before. I've adored every second of this manga so far and I cannot wait for more! Completely in love <3.
