Almost a great light.
This is great light. However, if you have a lot of activity at night with a bunch of pigs running around the batteries don't last very long. You missed having a perfect light by not having an external battery port. Since it sits right under the control box it would be very easy to hook it to the 12 volt battery that operates the feeder. How about a retro fit guys???

Could have a little larger area of that it lights up or senses the movement from. Hanging from a feeder creatures don't usually trip the light if they are outside the legs of the feeder. Also, it's hard to see anything if it is not directly in the light.

Awesome !!!
The light is awesome, installed on my moultrie feeder with the double stick 3M tape provided, when it got dark, coons showed up and the light came on. It didn’t seem to bother the coons at all.Light doesn’t stay on very long though, it turns on and off, stays on for approximately 3 - 5 seconds and goes off, when there is movement again the light turns on.I stayed in my stand another hour and a half after dark and enjoyed the show !!!

worked great for about 2 years
Worked great until it didn't. I have had this light for about a year or 2 now. It has been in many elements and conditions. It has always come on with coons, hogs, rabbits, etc. Went hunting last night and it didn't come on. Left hunt came home and opened battery compartment. The rain finally got to it and I had rusty batteries. Now after cleaning it will not work. Even though it had a gasket water still got in it and it's toast. 3 stars for working great in the beginning.

I think this light is good for the price, but I have decided to pay a little more to get a different light. Pluses are that it used AA batteries and the batteries can be changed without tools. A big negative for me is there is no option for just turning on at dusk. I believe that hogs are less likely to get spooked if the light is on when they come in versus turning on while they are under it.

Not good
I bought two of these in May 2020, and was disappointed that they are ONLY battery powered. Solar power or recharging is NOT at option for these. They take 8 AA batteries and they only last 2 days, at best. Then, one of the lights stopped working after 1 week of use. Very disappointed and mad as a wet cat!The lights are bright enough to see hogs when used together, but having only one makes it tough to see them from a different approach angle. I have used Moultrie lights, but they rose in price by $20! These were cheaper and gave these a try... I won't do that again!
