No retaining cord but does the job.
arrived quickly. only issue is like the original I lost, it is only held onto the kayak by the small slides which are easy to dislodge and lose the fin. If it had a hole in the fin near the end I could attach a cord to it and to the rear of the canoe so it won't float away if dislodged. Looks like I will be getting the drill out.

Good product at half the price.
These mass produced plastic fins should retail at aroung a fiver.There's nothing to them, but they are essential to controlling the Kayak.These fins are a common issue with kayaks, always comming off, so ive bought loads.The new canoe trails tend to pull them off the bottom of your craft or they just fall off and they are lost forever.
