Stays open after you open it; I mean it’s not flimsy, but, yes, you can close it flat again for storage. It cleans easily with dish soap and water. I recommend this item.

Love this. The thing I like the cover. It fits great in my small microwave and makes it easier to keep it clean. I love the mat. It not only keeps the plate cleaner it also helps prevent the plate from coming off track which has been a problem for me and my family pretty much always. It is so nice to not have to try and put it back in properly so that it spins like it is supposed to do.

This cover is resistant to heat and food stains. It's colapsible and compact when not in use. The diameter and height of the cover works on almost everything heated in the microwave. The best feature of about this product is -- IT KEEPS THE MICROWAVE CLEAN. I would recommend this product to a friend.

This item is a microwave cover, collapsible for storage, can be used as a colander , and there is another piece that can be used as a grip to help open jars. It's a good idea, but doesn't quite work as intended. It comes in the collapsed state and it's very difficult to get the sides to stand up properly so it can be used for a microwave cover. I've had it now for several weeks, I have used it as a cover, It is lopsided, and sometimes because the sides can't be straightened out, the top will touch the food.
