Hugely over-priced
I wish I hadn't bothered buying this vacuum cleaner to be honest. It's easy-ish to use on the stairs but shortly after purchase the clip that holds the cylinder on came off, we managed to fix it but it doesn't bode well for the general quality. The machine itself seems fine but the rest of the vacuum feels flimsy and cheap and it drags on the carpet, making it really hard work to vacuum. It also doesn't pick up pet hairs very well. If it had cost around the £50 mark I'd understand, but this wasn't a cheap product. Avoid.

Powerful for a small cleaner
Loved this little cleaner, lightweight and powerful. Unfortunately after 16 months it lost suction and then stopped working. No problems returning for refund as 2 year warranty.

Good Quality - Very Impressed
Had this product for 3 months now. I was looking for a good quality, reliable and powerful hoover but was not prepared to pay for something like a Miele or Shark for a 2 bedroom flat. At half the price I believe this product will do me well for a while! The machine isvery quiet even at full power. Not eactly silent but quieter than a number of my old VAX hoovers. Despite the colour not being a plus or minus when buying a hoover it does look quite nice. The hoover is not the smallest in the world to move around compared to some of the other models and its larger shape does get it stuck on the corner of the bed or desk when pulling it around. Not a big deal and you could see this would be an issue before you purchase. However, it is a light machine to carry and pull around. Storage might be a pain for those with smaller households.Suction, arguably the most important part of the hoover remains strong since purchasing (Used once a week minimum) and whilst it has declined since the very first use this is very minor. I assume it is down to some dust entering the filters but this is to be expected. It is still sucks up everything on a variety of floors (Wood, laminate and variety of carpets). In terms of attachments you get a carpet head, wooden floor head (flat surfaces), crevice nozzle and upholstery nozzle. As another sharp eyed user pointed out the product page claims you get a three in one dusting head too but I also recieved no such thing. This is probaly the one thing I would have liked to have included and I would trade the upholstery nozzle for it. I am a bit dissapointed that it does not have the spinning brush head that picks up hairs like most other hoovers now... Hairs do get picked up but it takes a few repeated runs for this to happen and a brush head would do it instantly. The dust container is a nice size although this will vary absed on household size and pets etc. I find that due to there being no central filter in the dust container it is really easy to empty. Everythng falls out easily once the door is opened! Some other hoovers I have to pull hairs or clumps of dust etc out by hand as they get stuck inside on the central filter.the main pipe does not extend as far as I would have liked. I am not exactly tall and found myself bending over to hoover. It also feels a bit loose, as do all the other attachments and occasionally pops off when hoovering (although this could be due to the strong suction pulling it off when it gets stuck to the carpet..)Word of warning, dont make the mistake I did and use the carpet head attachement on a wooden floor! At max power with the wrong head it scratched the floorboards when I tried to hoover it :(

Can’t Pick Up it’s own Fluff!
My Miele Cat and Dog died just before Christmas 2017 and going on the reviews this AEG seemed like a cheaper option. No! You get what you pay for! It says it has a ‘turbo head’ and the picture on the info received has a photo which what looks like brushes underneath going around (see photo below) After numerous phone calls (yes I complained as well about them having no brush attachment - they blamed Amazon for showing the picture as no part exists!) I received (today 20th Jan) the exact same head!I have a Dog and two cats and I hoover everyday. I have carpets (they are not ‘pile’ carpets, in the living room and side room but porch and kitchen are hard floors. This hoover is absolutely rubbish on carpets, it just tears up the carpet producing loads of fluff balls which it can’t actually pick up , which is really strange because it actually lifts the carpet?! So I have to keep taking the nozzle out to pick up the fluff balls. See photos which I have just taken this morning.I’m sending it back, can’t recommend for what I need it for. Plus side it’s quiet and light weight. But for me it doesn’t do it.I’ve Just rang Miele up and paying the £90 to get my cat and dog repaired!

which means It is good for stairs and manoeuvring
I bought this to replace my only Dyson upright. Having 2 big dogs, it seemed to be pleasing most in reviews and I was needing a lighter machine with as much power. This certainly is powerful! And light, which means It is good for stairs and manoeuvring. The suction power means that unless on very low setting, it is impossible to push on carpet. I have been pulling only. It also has quite a flimsy plastic handle, which due to the suction power, bends ominously if you push on carpet and I am waiting for it to break. The lack of a rotating brush head is, I think, a mistake. The suction is powerful, but this makes the vacuuming jerky ON CARPET whereas a rotating head would be smoother.Unsure whether I will send back as am on first week of trying it out, but these are my immediate thoughts.

Brush not supplied (but shown in picture)
Bought this as wanted bagless vacuum, and it's really quiet (good), but no brush was supplied - as depicted in the pictures on the web site. Really need the brush to clean upholstery, lampshades, curtains, etc. Have looked on AEG website to buy a brush, but none seems to be made for this vacuum. So why is it shown in the picture on the Amazon site? Will be returning this product as doesn't meet specification.

A very good vacuum cleaner
This vacuum cleaner has some serious suction, in fact I have to adjust the air flow on the main head to be able to move it around at all as it literally stuck to the floor. Easy to empty and has been in good order since I bought it last year.

Great performance, good price
This wee machine has surpassed my expectations. It really pulls the dirt out of rugs and also works well on wooden floors. It is light and easy to manoeuvre and is much quieter than other hoovers I've used. Only four stars because the tube, whilst staying in place during use, has an annoying habit of fallling off when it's is taken out of the cupboard. That said, this wee wonder more than matches the performance of others that cost twice as much.
