Actually Works
I was hesitant to purchase this item due to its low price. Installed under 5 minutes with no tools on my 2020 Equinox Premiere.It actually works. No engine lights, everything works as it should so far.Highly reccomend

Chevy Cruze 2019
There really are no clear instructions here in the reviews nor do any come with this item. After much searching I finally found the spot where you plug it in. On the 2019 Chevy Cruze you'll find it under a black plastic shroud, just above the radiator. The plug you need to undo is just to right of the hood latch. There's a red pin you pull and beneath that a black clip that needs to be lifted slightly to get it to come apart.Initial testing so far is great. I took the vehicle around the block with no service lights coming on and came to a complete stop twice. Both times the engine kept right on running. I plan on taking it out for a longer drive tomorrow just to ensure everything is working fine but so far, so good!

Disables remote start
Check engine light came on in my 2019 Equinox after installing. Remote start won't work on the app or keyfob. It does work disabling the idle stop, but I'm not givving up my remote start in the winter or looking at the check light either.

Fantastic.
Very easy to install. Open hood, locate matching connectors just inboard of the radiator area, unplug the connectors, plug this into the connectors, tuck it out of the way. Everything still works as it should (including the remote start) except the engine doesn't shut off at every stop (yay!!!). The light on the cancelling button still stays lit, but that has no effect on anything. Installed on my 2024 Chevy Blazer.

Works on 2021 Buick Encore GX !!
My husband put this on my 2021 Buick Encore GX and it stopped the auto stop/start. It was annoying ever time I stopped for a few seconds the car would shut down (who thought this was a great idea at Buick). This device stopped that and car has not shut down when stopped since. This device has NOT cause any engine or warning lights to come on. This device is worth giving a try if you are like me and hate the "auto shut off/ on" feature on you vehicle.

Had several mechanics try and stop the start/stop on my battery. Dealer couldn't figure it but one mechanic at the dealership knew exactly what I needed!! IT WORKED!! No more start/stop draining of my battery.

Disables Remote Start on Cadillac XT5
This little wire works great and definitely fixes the start-stop problem. The other problem is that it keeps the remote start feature from working. The car thinks the hood is open and will not activate remote start.

Works great (2019 Equinox)
Only gave this 4 stars, because there is not any instructions on where this needs to be connected. Had to google it, it’s the wire that is connected to the hood latch. Don’t trust you- tube the wire must be connected. Will not start with the hood open, this is good. Close the hood and everything works as it should. For years I have hated this feature on the vehicle. The dealership said it can’t be disconnected. I told them if I wanted a golf cart I could have bought a golf cart. I highly recommend this product.
