I use this for street preaching, and it is LOUD. Would highly recommend for anyone who regularly needs amplification for outdoor speaking, even on roadsides with traffic noise, this speaker does very well. The only thing to be aware of is the battery life to volume ratio. If you are in direct sunlight and using a single mic at 75-85% volume, you only get about 2 hours out of a full charge. Functions well with every mic I've used including direct-line or wireless headset. Bluetooth function is great. You can still speak through it while playing music from your phone which is cool. You can also link multiple speakers together seamlessly. Overall this thing is great and I will likely buy another in the future.

Bought this for my oldest son and he loves it. He’s doing open mic.s and busking around town. It’s compact and delivers great voice and guitar sound. Bose makes great products for a decent price. Battery life is impressive. I’ve loved Bose since I heard a pair of 901 speakers 52 years ago.

This is a great portable speaker that sounds terrific and is 'smart' enough to know when it is on a stand so changes its equalization compared to being on the floor. The Bluetooth connection 'connects' pretty easily and reliably. We did an A-B with a competitor's Mobile8 speaker. In appearance, the two are similar but the sound clarity of the S1 Pro+ sold me. The Bose was sounded *way* better to me. We've had it for over a year and still love it.
