This is probably the 3rd or 4th jar I've purchased & I love this stuff. I began using it for my pet mantises because bee pollen helps them to live longer, but then decided to put it into my smoothies, since it is also of great benefit to humans! (And other animals, I suspect!) Also great for mixing into the food of Sugar Gliders (we also have those). While I enjoy the flavor, it can be overwhelming if you're not used to it and don't "work up to it". If you are using it in smoothies, I've found the best way is to start with about 1/8 - 1/4 tsp per smoothie at first, working up to 1 tsp after a few days or weeks (depending on your tolerance). Once you are accustomed to the flavor, you can use it in other things (tea, coffee, straight from the jar.) I have found that I even enjoy the taste of it straight now when mixing it with a little raw honey (again, for the mantises.) I suspect the person stating that the taste was too strong probably tried to add too much, too soon. It is also great for allergy sufferers, but again, should be worked into the diet slowly, or it can exacerbate the problem until the body adjusts.

Using this to entice my bearded dragon to try different vegetables because he is picker than my 5 year old son. It has worked amazing. He is eating 4 different veggies he normally wouldn't even look at. I will keep trying new options for him . This will help the transition to 80% vegetables from protein quickly. Im glad I tried this.

Its good, the fact its not processed, cold pressed is why I bought it. We have an Omega Juicer and make veggie juice each day and rotate various superfoods like Spirulina, Goto Kola, Camu-Camu, Goji Berry, Maqui Bery, Noni and Billberry Powders in it along with Bee Pollen, which is added everyday. So we're real serious about Bee Pollen and this brand is as good as we've had. Its not certified organic, but how do you certify that a bee hasn't been in a conventional or GMO crop's pollen? You can't. So this is one of the few items I buy where paying extra for certified organic doesn't make sense. I dinged a star for the storage jar. It should either be stowed in resealable Mylar bags or in Amber glass which is too expensive. Fortunately we made the investment in three sizes of Amber Glass Jars to store superfoods in because light greatly diminishes the potency of these powders. A pound of Bee Pollen lasts us 5-7 months, so for those who do not have Amber jars, wrap it in aluminum foil and keep it in a dark storage location.
