Sturdy and well-built at an amazing price. The chair is a nice weight, well-made, easy to set up (take it out of the box, unfold it and it's ready to use), and is as comfortable as the higher-priced chairs out there. I highly recommend it and I would definitely buy it again.

This is a really comfortable chair. I'm a little worried about how long the tightening knobs will last, but in the meantime, this a just a great chair. It's easy to set up, not too heavy, and adjusts to a lot of comfortable positions. Wish I had bought 2.

I've never owned or sat in a chair like this, so I am giving you my personal experience this one time. The chair isn't a tank, but it is fairly sturdy, and so, I'm not worrying about its longevity. Note: I've owned the chair for only a day.This is a lounge chair, which is what I wanted, but I also like my chairs to be the sit-up kind for healthful body alignment. It's awkward getting into the chair because of the footrest. Splay your legs, plop your butt down, lean back. Now, I'm an overweight guy of average size (not mass but size). I fit in the chair comfortably. A wider fatso will have trouble if he/she is 21 inches or wider. Of course, fat likes to shift, so you might be okay. (How do you do in other folding chairs?)The two knobs on the side of the chair do a so-so job of stabilizing it. I never feel totally secure at my setting, but I'm not moving around much, either. I'm watching a movie.I'm happy with the purchase. In a less corrupt country, we could buy this chair for much less money, so I don't think the price is reasonable. (But then again, it's gotten to the point that few prices are reasonable, anymore.) I feel vaguely ripped off while enjoying a product that seems to be meeting my needs. I'll update if that changes.All things considered, I give it 4 stars.

These chairs are extremely comfortable and heavy-duty. The fabric is thick, and the chairs extend smoothly.

It depends on what you want this chair for. Beach? For me, it would be much too heavy to shlep around a beach. But as the closest beach to my desert city is 250 miles away in Mexico – the closest American beach is in San Diego, 400 miles away – that is not my problem. Stretching out for a 2-hour nap in the sun? Several reviewers have warned that this chair is not stable when stretched out, but as 2 hours in the Arizona sun would burn me to a crisp, that too is not my problem.So, what do I use it for? For basking in our main resource, an unobstructed exposure to the sun in our backyard, for 20 minutes at a time. I keep the seat in its upright position – which, by the way, is not very upright – and tighten the knobs to keep it that way. I don’t use the head rest, which slips easily on and off. As such, it’s very comfortable and entirely stable.As for longevity, which some reviewers have complained about, I’ve only had it for a few days, so that remains to be seen. So far, there is no sign of any wear on grommets or seams. Of course I hope it lasts for a long time – though at my age, forever more, as they say, is shorter than before. But let me put this in context. Before the pandemic, I got regular therapeutic massages for my chronic back pain; around once every other week. No insurance will pay for such a regimen, not even with a doctor’s prescription. (I had my physiatrist’s prescription, but that’s only good for one, or at most two, courses of treatments.) Since the start of the pandemic, I have had no massages at all, and don’t intend to get any until herd immunity is attained. But 20 minutes in the Arizona sun seems to help, and this chair costs exactly what one therapeutic massage costs. So if it lasts for 6 months, I will be way ahead on costs.So, as I said at the outset, the value of this chair depends largely on what you want to do with it. For my purposes, it’s ideal – and I got it in a single day, perfectly packed without a hint of damage anywhere. Hence my 5 stars.
