Very secure and easy to install - definitely recommend!
We ordered these grab bars for our acrylic shower/tub enclosure following husband’s knee replacement surgery. We wanted safe, secure handholds without having to drill through the acrylic to try to find studs for support of other types of bars. The product arrived in 2 days and was well packaged, including a protective plastic cover over the rubber (slightly tacky) suction ends. This cover keeps the pads free from debris that might impair the seal, so leave them in place till ready to install. (I took one off before I realized the pad was slightly tacky, so I replaced it till we were ready.) The slight tackiness of the pads was sufficient to temporarily hold the bars in place on the freshly cleaned and dried flat surface while we decided if positioning was good. Once we were sure, the instructions were followed to firmly attach the bars using the levers/latches to apply suction. We were both very impressed how secure the bars are once installed! It has been a week now, and they are still very tightly attached - so much so that even testing by trying to pull them off (without releasing the vacuum) did not loosen them at all. We feel very secure using these bars and would definitely recommend them to anyone with such a need - and they look good, too. Just be sure you follow the directions for installation - clean surfaces well (and air dry to avoid lint) and be sure that the location is perfectly flat so the suction pads can seal well. (We had to avoid subtle curves and a slightly raised diamond design in parts of our enclosure.) Press down firmly on each lever (while still in the open/vertical position) to force out air from under the pad, and then, while still pressing, fold the lever down. It only takes a minute to install each bar after the chosen location is cleaned and ready.

Perfect for the job
Perfect for the feeling of safety in the shower. We have 1ft sq tile walls in large shower. The tiles do have fine texture to them but after cleaning the wall areas where we were applying them and using the grout lines to get them level they went up uber easy. The hardest part was getting the protective plastic suction cup covers off. I was afraid I'd damage them but they came off without issue. Follow the directions about squaring up the cup cover and then applying pressure to the lever toward the wall and flipping then over. Start to finish I put up four of them in less than 10 mins. The strength of the grip seems strong, I weigh 250 and put a substantial lean on them with NO sense of give at all. They look exactly like the pictures and we couldn't be more pleased with this solution.

Value & safety just what I needed
I need some assistance getting in/out of the shower because of recent surgery. So, I bought these to use at my daughter's house when I visit. They were the best purchase! As you can see I only used one on the shower door. The other one was used beside the toilet (not pictured) on a painted wall. And they stayed on perfectly. They're very strong when attached properly. I visited for a week and never had a problem with the grab bars. They were equally as strong and helpful. When I left my daughter removed the bars and put them in the box they came in. Ready for my next visit if needed. The price was reasonable & well worth my safety. They look great and the weight of these bars is substantial. I'm very happy with this product. Thank you!

They work.
My husband and I are seniors, steady on feet but don't take any chances of a fall. We live in senior apts., but the shower/tub only had one short grab bar that is too low. These were easy to install and are sturdy. They can also be moved if you decide to. Just be sure to read the simple directions and follow them.

Great temporary shower grab bars
Needed something temporary to help me get in and out of my shower after a recent injury. These grab bars are wonderful! They are strong and make me feel very secure as I move in and out of the shower. I would highly recommend them. As with anything temporary, it is advised to double check the bars before using to make certain they are still secured to the wall of the shower.

Light weight yet sturdy.
These bars adhere strongly. They make me feel very secure getting in and out of the bathtub. I have 4-inch square tiles in my bathroom, so vertical and horizontal mounting was a piece of cake. I cleaned the tiles with some rubbing alcohol to remove any residue. I tested them by pulling hard, and they did not budge. I would strongly recommend them.

Reliable so far, but not for repositioning
Very easy to mount and, so far, after four months of use, all bars have reliably stayed in place and withstood my elderly mother's (light) weight and pull. Two things to remember: 1) The bar can only be mounted on flat and smooth surfaces. My mom's shower tiles are textured and curvy, so the suctions didn't stick. 2) When trying to reposition a bar on regular painted dry wall, the wall got damaged and the suction/adhesive on one side of the bar didn't stick thereafter. Instead of buying a new bar, I just placed two-sided Gorilla tape to the suction surface and remounted. Seems to be working so far.
