WiiMVoice Remote for WiiM Music Streamers and Amplifiers, Push-to-Talk, 4 Music Preset Buttons

This is a great remote, I purchased it to go with a Wiim pro as this model doesn't come with a remote as standard so I had to buy this separately, it is very easy to set up and works well. It feels really well made.

If, like me, you are quite impressed with what WIIM sold us in the Pro streamer then forking out the extra for the remote control shouldn’t be to much of a disappointment either depending on your needs. It is very useful for using the streamer without the tablet or phone, especially for 4 of your favourite radio stations remembered via the presets in the app. The remote is a nice shape too, similar to the Apples TV latest remote. Nice rubberised buttons, it’s plastic but sturdy enough. Glad I bought it.

A must have gadget for your WiiM Pro Streamer. Good quality and very handy.

I have a WIIM Pro and initially wondered that as the app is so good, what’s the point of this? However I listen to playlists and each time activating my iPhone to just play the next song was depleting my iphone battery significantly. Hence thought let me try this and now it’s so easy to skip to the next track when needed. It has other functions too, but this is what I mainly use it for and finally I also use the off button on the remote at the end of a listening session.Make sure you have two AAA batteries bought separately and my recommendation for sliding the remote battery cover open is just wash hands and dry leaving just the slightest moisture on fingers - that gives good enough grip on the fingers to easily slide the remote open for inserting the batteries.A bonus is once connected - it does not further need phone Bluetooth for pairing and the phone Bluetooth can then be switched off even for later sessions. Also as the remote then uses Bluetooth to send signals directly to the WIIM, one can easily use the remote even if in a different room.

The wiim pro is amazing but especially if you lock your volume to your amp you hardy use the remote. That said it's nice and works.

Just use this with the wiim mini so it just pauses and skips tracks and doesn't do a lot more than that so it's expensive for doing only those things. Obviously worth having if you have the wiim pro though.
