Amazing!
I really enjoyed Max and Cami's story. I love both of their characters, most especially Cami. She was so different from all the other socialites and I liked that she was so simple and down to earth. The way she was so confident with her body was so admirable too and her love for food was so enjoyable to read. I loved her relationship with her father it was so healthy, full of love and respect. As for Maxim, I liked his personality too. The way he was a domineering hero but not an annoying one was really fun to read. Though I know eventually he'll give up denying his feelings for Cami, I still swooned when he finally acted on it. He was so alpha in all the right ways, and I'm glad that the push and pull didn't drag for too long. They were so good and hot together. I loved it even more that they have a healthy relationship, there wasn't major drama involved in their story. As for the villain, I think he got off easily with what he did. It also made sense because he was only mentioned after Max found out his name. So too much spotlight won't be necessary. The "secret" too was somewhat glossed over. At the beginning it was like a huge thing that Max regretted for a whole decade, but when the time for them to actually talk about it, it comes off like a trivial thing. That nothing Max and Cami have to worry about at all.Overall, I enjoyed this book and totally would recommend it. So far from this series, Cami comes as my second favorite FMC after Abi.

Maxim and Camille are a fabulous couple.
4 1/2 starsAh Maxim! It’s always the dark horses that you want and intrigue you the most and Camille certainly was intrigued by Max. I can’t say she was instantly attracted to him because she wasn’t, but she definitely enjoyed the looks of her new bodyguard. 😉 Max also found Cami hot, but of course distanced himself like a true professional. It was fascinating to watch the change in Max as the story unfolded, change that was instigated by Cami or her actions. He became less ‘robotic’ as Cami put it and more human. Being an assassin I can only imagine it’s not a laugh-a-minute career so it’s understandable he was a tad reserved. Whereas Cami, being a socialite, was all about the social scene… until she wasn’t! A bit cryptic but true. Once their mutual attraction was recognised by them both they certainly burnt up the sheets, but what I liked most was this element didn’t take over the storyline, great balance was achieved.Having a bodyguard because someone was out to kill you would be an extremely stressful life. All things considered Cami accepted things quite well once she realised how serious the situation was for her. I really liked how she reacted to so many things with a strong backbone and willingness to see the positives in given situations. The twist in the story might have been a tiny bit predictable but it still causes a massive change.Restrain Me is another fabulous story that is extremely enjoyable and entertaining.

Man oh Man Chapter 21 enough said!
Man oh Man Chapter 21 enough said!I could leave the review just at that but im not ready to quit talking about this book yet. Max is not your typical bodyguard but the Spoiled Socialite Camille’s father know he is the best of the best and needs him even if this isn’t his line of work. Actually it’s the opposite hes unalives people so now this job is to make sure she does get unalived herself. Why would an unaliver take on a spoiled socialite to watch and protect you may ask? I cant tell you that it’s a secret Camille doesn’t even know in the beginning but it’s a good reason why he takes this job. The back and forth banter and the internal thoughts that they have going on in there head will keep you from being able to put the book down.“To women, grey sweatpants on a man are the equivalent of lingerie. How do you not know this?” There is a few scenes where I just had to run to Michelle’s Dm to talk about how hot a scene was. The way he is all scary and hard and just oozes danger is Hot AF but the way Michelle describes the scene and put you in the room watching the whole thing go down just brings it to a whole new level.Domineering, Broody, Scary af bodyguard turns into her most perfect person.“ As long as im alive, Ill keep you safe”

A Unique & Entertaining Story
RESTRAIN ME by Michelle Heard is a story of the top of his field as an assassin, Maxim Levin, who has reluctantly accepted a job as a bodyguard for a pretty, rich, socialite, Camille DuBois. This was as a favor for a best-friend, and retribution for a mistake he had made years ago. The only error in his entire career! Max was not used to watching over a young lady. Especially one who's very life was in danger! This bodyguard job was a first for Max. Camille's the most precious person in her papa's life since his wife died giving her birth. Her father is Maurice DuBois, and soon to become Prime Minister of France. He'd received death threats for his daughter that he dearly loves and cherishes. In exchange for her life, he'd be forced to withdraw from politics. He wants to hire someone with a name in the criminal world to save his daughter. Maurice DuBois' daughter must have the very best of everything. So, Max is top gun and her bodyguard. He tells her that nothing will hurt her while he is on guard, and she is safe with him. When you are living with someone & close to someone for twenty-four hours a day, there's a drastic change in those two people's lives. More of a drastic change then either of them sees coming. It's really a unique and entertaining story.

Just amazing ✨
think this might be one of the most beautiful books I've read from Michelle Heard. Usually I feel like the romance is developed very fast, but in this book it took it's time. I love that! Max was possessive, and dominating but not in a way that it'd make you wanna smack him. And Cami! Oh my god, that girl was soooo well-written! Definitely not what you'd expect going in, and she won my heart as soon as I read her POV!And the plot! Just awesome! Absolutely loved loved loved this book! ❤❤❤

amazing.
Like the author warned before the book starts, Maxim isn’t an anti-hero, and this is not a story where the hero changes for his woman. It was everything I hoped it would be even though Maxim and Cami are relatively strangers to me.I loved Cami. She was matured, resilient and so sweet. And Maxim Levin- that man need a fire extinguisher. From the first meeting itself there was a slight intrigue between them and I was fascinated by their equation.I loved how their story and romance progressed. They both took the time to learn the pace and then boom 💥 their chemistry just exploded and set the pages on fire. There were some heartbreaking moments in the book and the ending scene was bittersweet but perfect. We also got to see characters from previous books and now I’m so ready for Alek’s book.Tropes:—bodyguard romance.—age gap, forced proximity, one bed.—HEA, kindle Unlimited, safe and recommended. received an advance review copy and I’m leaving this review voluntarily.

1 star max
I feel like Michelle lost herself throughout this whole enormous series of organized crimes, after the half or even less than that the books just get so exhausting, nothing new. I few like she writes so much passion, but they are just words, a lot of moments, things and even feelings are so over the top and ureal. The plot was nice but it wasn't well developed. One thing I liked right in the beginning was the fact that she was a socialite but not superficial, she had aspirations and she didn't particularly enjoyed shopping, but then after some chpters she was absolutely freaking out because of a dress, I mean.. COME ON. Alpha males are real nice, but there are some limits and I feel like the author crosses them sometimes.. If you wanna know the story anyway because you read everything that Michelle writes or just out of curiosity it is fine, but don't waste your time here, it is not a good body guard romance.

Cami ♥️
I actually love the male leads more when I’m reading. But this is different. I love CAMI , the positiveness, her forgiveness, her kindness. They are all the qualities I want to take from her. I love the way Max lives Cami and the possessive side of the male lead is always a turn on for me 😁

She never disappoints me
I read almost all of her books and every book is different and catchy in its own way.. i never took more than a day to finish her book.. the steam, the protective perfect Mafia men, the vulnerable yet strong women, the chemistry.. the list goes on.. one thing is for sure, Michelle Heard never disappoints her readers..
