Works well - really like the extra length for lighting fire starters in a smokeless fire pit.

This is long enough to light your logs in your fireplace. Love it and you don’t have to reach far into your fireplace when you have this long fire lighter. Re-fillable!

Didn’t work right out of the box. I was looking for something long to light my fires this winter. Difficult enough that I had to wait in line at the post office, as I am a below the knee amputee and in a wheelchair, too much trouble to return it, guess it follows my luck! The shipper is actually only 45 miles away, maybe I’ll find a ride and pay him a visit!!! Btw zero stars, you have to select one to submit!

I have a firepit that puts out a lot of gas, but one must reach down into it to light it. It's a bad design, but it'd be easy to burn some arm hair off with a standard lighter. This lighter works well. Please note that mine arrived empty. I had to buy fuel.

Finally after two decades I was able to find this product again. And it's worth the price. Having limited dexterity and poor hand strength, I am unable to use the ones where you push top and then pull the trigger. With one hand or two. However this has the electronic ignition, which means you push a button that is connected to a single AA battery. The flame comes out about 7 inches fully opened and about 1 1/2 inches when turned all the way down. Love this product. My last one was used for many years until it was broken in two. Tried to get another but was unable to find it until now. The cooke company was friendly and shipped it out immediately. So please with this one I just ordered the smaller version without the flexible tip. Yes it's costly, but you get what you pay for and I'm completely satisfied. I did replace the battery because when I turned it on the clicking was slow. And I remember the last one sounding different. So with the new battery and some butane I'm good to go. This would be great for the elderly or someone with limited strength in their hands.

The inside package was broken and the product looks like it was used. Not returnable buy elsewhere.
