Does it's job.
I used this VFD to have variable speed on my 3hp motor I used on my 2x72 grinder. It was easy to hook up and comes with a long cable so you can use an enclosure for it. I used a 50 cal ammo box, if you don't enclose it, it'll not last very long. The only issue I have is it's a pain to get it to reverse, there is no dedicated button, you have to basically reprogram that function.Change to 0 stars!Update 04 September 2024Well the VFD worked well for about 8 months, now I have to use a toothpick to have something that resembles speed control. You can not buy a controller separately. So I'm back in th market for a VFD. I couldn't find a website for the company... I know it's not a $500 unit, but I still think it should last more than 8 months before taking a dump on me!
