Provides an amazing insights on japan in a beginner friendly language. recommended
This book is a personal experience and adventurous tale of the author who visited Japan, for his higher education. This book is a must-read for anyone who is planning to visit Japan anytime sooner. In this book, he shared all his humorous tales as well as all the embarrassing stories which happened with him there. Japan, the land of the rising sun, is admired all over the world for its perfect product but this book also helped me to learn about how hospitable, kind, and loving Japanese are too!My favorite tale in this book was "Why I won't Say I love Chinese food" which made me laugh so hard! Author ordered Chinese food in the restaurant hoping to get Indo-Chinese but what arrived on the plate was authentic Chinese. Usually what we eat on the roadside stalls/desi Chinese comes under the Indo Chinese category but if you wish to eat Chinese food it is completely different.this book also helped me to learn about all the struggles that he needed to face down there in Japan which was the food, people over there hardly understand the idea and concept of being a vegetarian. The author is an Indian and a pure vegetarian who had a lot of trouble explaining Japanese that he will not eat any type of meat. Then, all the financial trouble that the author went through while living in Japan. Overall I enjoyed reading this book and recommended it to anyone and everyone who is fascinated by Japan, its technology, natural beauty, and time management. This book brings a lot of insight into the Japanese way of working, their ethics, and their culture.for me, it was 4/5
