In still conitions the solo stove emits a really fantastic candle like flame that traps and recirculates smoke. Despite the XL name it is small and is usable on a table top.In a breeze it can be a bit smokey, the same as any fire, but overall its a great solid peice of kit that gives off a fair bit of heat.It's a single piece of steel and as such should last for many years. Its easy to deal with the resulting ash as there is hardly anything left due to the way it works.I love it.

A great table or camping stove. It's fantastic. Really burns through the wood, pellits last longers. Really happy with it.

Already an owner of the Mesa, and Bonfire 2.0, I can’t recommend the Mesa XL enough. It’s extremely well made and despite being expensive, it’s sort of worth it.Just use these fire pits as much as you can, as familiarity helps you understand what they need to enjoy the most. I’m a huge Solo fan, so maybe a bit biased, but I’m also very frugal, so that’s saying something.

This is a great little addition to my camping gear.... it does exactly as advertised and burns a clean smokeless(-ish) fire. Once done it's easy to clean out and pack-away. Even though this is the XL version of the Mesa don't be expecting too much. It's about the same size as a large paint tin which is perfect for me when trying to pack away everything into a campervan. It gives off an impressive flame but not so much in the way of heat. If you're looking for something to keep you and your friends warm then I'd look to the bigger stoves but if you just want to add some ambience and maybe toast/roast a few marshmallows then this is perfect.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased the Mesa XL after reading lots of positive reviews. Myself and my children enjoy a fire in the garden and also when out and about at the beach etc with their friends, using our current portable fire bowl. It has a carry bag, but is still big and bulky for me to carry along with other things.This one will be just great for us due to its size and how light it is.I was so excited to try it out, but as it was very windy I set it up at shed door with the doors opened.I used 4 small pieces of kindling wood and a Log Barn natural firelighter just to test it out.It was smoky for a very short time before quickly turning to a nice flame with no smoke. I wasn't going to be topping it up as I was only trying it out to see what it was like. The video is after 10 minutes. After 15 minutes there were still some flames but not as much. After 20 mins there were no flames but could still feel a good heat when hands placed above. It didn't actually go out till about 30 mins after it was lit. I was quite surprised considering I only used 4 small pieces of wood.I'm looking forward to using it, especially when kids want toasted marshmallows. Quick light up and they'll have them more or less right away as it's so quick and easy.I will likely order the heat deflector for it at some point.

The media could not be loaded. Was looking for something to a small Fire Pit that you could put on a Table Top outside. I came across the Messa XL and thought this was the best of he many different types you can put on a table out there and I haven't been disappointed. The Messa XL burns well with Wood Pellets or small logs and adds to the table top during drinks at night and is also adds some heat as well as a focal point. Also bought the Messa XL Heat deflector which helps give more heat off around the table & was easy to put up. Overall we are very pleased with the Messa XL Table Top Fire Pit & the additional Heat Deflector & a couple of our friends have also bought this product now, so no hesitation in recommending these products.

5 star design, just a lovely little portable fire pit to have on the table top when camping, I have larger and smaller designs but this was the perfect one to bridge the gap for small family gatherings and camping trips to winter evenings in the garden! Great quality, colour and style would highly recommend.
