I have a Super White 2.5 gen Tacoma, and had managed to crack one of my tail lights. The OEM replacement from Toyota per light housing is more than twice what the pair of these cost. I figured I'd roll the dice since these have fairly good ratings.While the images DO show it as having an all red lens (I believe there are options for lens colors) I guess I'd forgotten or didn't remember that the OEM lenses were clear/chrome in some areas (most notably the upper signal and the brake light circle). When they arrived I immediately noted how very different they looked and wasn't sure I'd like them. As it happens when mounted it's a much cleaner look and they're plenty bright.One very notable difference is the brake light itself. The OEM uses a LED system here and this light uses a more traditional incandescent bulb (though you could use an LED bulb that plugs into the socket, which I will probably do). This will create a delta when you go to buy replacement bulbs and does introduce a potential failure point due to corrosion or socket damage/deformation. I don't think either of those are any particular issue, but will absolutely require replacements more frequently than the OEM unit would. The good news is that the incandescent bulbs and even LED bulbs are quite inexpensive and the housings are very easy to change (three 10mm bolts which are easily accessed just inside the bed and visible when the tailgate is dropped).I see no obvious quality difference between the OEM and these lenses, in fact when I pulled both of my OEM lights there was something fairly heavy loose and rattling around inside the housings despite both of them working correctly. I am impressed overall, and these housings are a very good value and, in my opinion, a better looking tail light housing than the OEM.

These tail lights from Boine were a perfect fit for my 2008 Toyota Tacoma and at a great price. They were simply plug and play.Would buy again if needed.

It came so well packed!! I installed them as soon as I received them today. They look great on my Ol 2006 Toyota Tacoma with a little over 300,000 miles on it.

Retain your original wiring harness, the bulb holders are a very loose fit with the provided harness. Besides that, I'm very happy with my purchase.

Extremely DisappointedInstalled this taillight on my 2007 Tacoma, and within 2 days the plastic started melting. The turn signal lights are now falling off the harness. This product is made with such cheap materials that it didn't even last 3 days of use.Totally disappointed with this purchase — I expected at least basic durability, but this is unacceptable. See the picture for proof. Do not recommend.

This was a quality product, comes with 3 lamps for brake, back up, and running lights. Very resonable price. If you are very particular about getting an exact color match, you might have to replace both at the same time. I had previously ordered a tail light replacement for the passenger side, and this one does not exactly match that one, but it is so close, and looks and functions as good as the original equipment. I can live with it being ever so slightly different. The passenger side replacement was from a different supplier, so just make sure you get both from the same seller.
