Indispensable
If you’re going to get the Fly 3 amp you may as well get this - the sound spread is incredible. I have ordered an RJ45 male to female extension cable too for the speaker to be able to place it a tad further away from the amp for that surround sound experience.

Works really well, no more batteries to worry about! Not cheap but then neither was the sugar skull amp. Great little thing for practice at home.

Saves on batteries!
I like the idea of using mains power when I’m at home, with the ability to use batteries when I’m out. Improves the versatility of the fly 3 amp.

Poor quality shielding
Product works perfectly well but I’ve found the shielding around the wires comes off where the lead meets the box ( on the box-to-fly amp lead not box-to-plug ). This was the original reason I bought a new one and a couple of months down the line it’s happened again. Probably ok if you keep it in one place but I’m a travelling guitar teacher so am constantly plugging it in and out and moving it around. Can’t really afford to replace it every 3 months so just have to hope it’s safe !

Power cable arrived quickly and exactly as described. It works perfectly with my Blackstar Fly 3 (US). I can gladly say that I won't be wasting any more batteries while I use this at home. I honestly would have paid $20 more for my amp if this had come with it instead of batteries. I could have purchased the bundle that included an extra cabinet speaker and this power cord but I have no need for the extra speaker.
