Excellent screws
I have an old SIG P6 (which was the West German border guard version of the P225) which I carried in an IWB holster for years. I love the gun but got annoyed that the grip screws closest to my body rusted. So gambled and got a set of these. They fit perfectly and didn't rust. I was very happy.I recently switched to the SIG M11-A1 compact (again carried IWB) because of its greater mag capacity. It's a stylish piece designed to meet or exceed military specs and (specifically) to be corrosion-resistant.Now, who would guess that the grip screws would rust on such a worthy, corrosion-resistant weapon? But rust they did. So I bought another set of hex head screws and put an end to that problem.C'mon SIG! How hard can it be to supply corrosion-resistant screws with your corrosion-resistant pistols?

Worked great on my P229.
Great fit. Low profile. Uses a hex wrench instead of the slot or T-20 drive the factory screws use. I purchased for a P229 after losing a screw at the range. I used the screws with factory grip panels (not Hogue) and they fit fine.Hex wrench not included and the screws don’t come with thread locker already applied.Awesome price. Ordered on a Thursday and delivered on Saturday. Super fast.

Stainless steel finish looks great, but not without machining issues
Bought these for adding a bit of bling in mounting a set of wood grips on my new P226. Three of the four screws looked great; the fourth however looks like it went through the proverbial ringer when it was machined. The upper domed face has a couple concentric grooves cut into it, as if it were put on a lathe but the machine went on coffee break halfway through and forgot that it wasn't done cutting when it came back off break. Bad aesthetics aside, I have to wonder about the structural strength of this particular screw as well, with as much of its head material missing when compared to the other three. The hex slot also seems rather soft as well; even though I didn't have any slippage issues with the Bondhus hex wrench I used to tighten these screws up, a couple of screws already show some slight wear problems along the edge of the hex pocket. Not exactly a ringing endorsement as to the supposedly 'improved' design of these latest Hogue screws, which previously suffered from premature shank failures.

Just what I needed
After reading the other reviews, I was nervous about what quality screws I would get. I bought these stainless screws for my P226 and they fit just as expected, except they are just slightly more recessed into the grip than the factory grip screws. I purchased these factory grip screws because the blued grip screws that came with the pistol were beginning to show signs of rust due to me perspiring on them (I conceal carry with an IWB holster). So far I am pleased with these stainless steel screws, all were equally well machined and match well.

Work
They are the proper grip screws for the Hogue grips.

Very nice grip screws
I use these stainless steel screws on several Sig Sauer pistols. The hex-socket heads are less prone to develop burrs than the usual slotted screw heads that are typically found on factory grip screws. As an added bonus, they are rust resistant, requiring no oil and only an occasional scrub with a brush when you are cleaning the weapon during normal maintenance.
