Outperformed our expectations-We love our machine
I purchased my machine over a year ago. It mostly runs nonstop 16 to 18 hrs a day. We love it. My husband was a bit skeptical as unlike me he’s not an ice heater about the nuggets ability to keep his drinks cold or melt too fast. It works great. He said he wished it made ice a little faster as far as filling the basket…..but when someone eats it by the bucket like me it doesn’t stay filled. Of course, I’ve seen reviews and laughed, about tge fact Ice doesn’t stay frozen. Of course it does but you have to use it within a reasonable time, it is not a freezer. It simply will just melt back down into the water week & be remade as ice again. If no plan to use it for a while, you will want a couple freezer bags and fill those for the freezer.😁If it does and at some point probably will, I will definitely be getting another one. Doesn’t take a lot of space, easy to clean, produces great product to ice eaters (and for icing your tea or soda)

Pellet ice. Beats the heck out of ice trays. Great for blending and drinks.
Pellet ice, good for drinks and blender. Ice is wet which limits foaming drinks, but it does cause the ice to stick together if you transfer it to the freezer to stock pile it. Capacity is not very large, so I make several bags to store it for a while. Since it sticks together I use heavy bags and slam it in the floor to break it back apart. After storing in the freezer it sets up in a large block of ice. Draining extra water from the basket before transferring ice to freezer helps.Unit is heavy. Remember to keep it upright or sit upright for a while before using. Storage is small and it is not very fast, so plan ahead. Water can drain back in the bottom to recirculate and and make more ice. Unit doesn't operate as a freezer for storage, but the ice did last for a while after it was made. Keep fan vents clear on the sides. It does generate a little heat. I find it to be fairly quiet. Drain in the bottom makes it easy to empty and dry. I am not sure how difficult it would be to get a replacement if it failed, since it is an unusual shaped plug.Note: If you use distilled water in the unit, you won't get the scale build up that is very difficult to remove. It happens here in everything with well water. Same for coffee makers, irons, etc.

Just like sonic ice!!
This ice maker has been a fantastic addition to our kitchen! It produces ice quicklly usually within 6 to 8 minutes and the small nugget cubes are the perfect size for drinks, smoothies, or even icing injuries. I love not having to deal with ice trays anymore, especially when guests come over or during hot Florida days. It’s surprisingly quiet while running and easy to use just fill it with water, press the button, and it does the rest. The machine also lets you know when the basket is full or if it needs more water, which is super helpful.i wanted something similar to sonic crushed ice and this was perfect

Great customer support.
Pro's> Makes lots of ice, we were bagging it until we filled the freezer. It makes great crunchy ice. I have no doubt that it truly would make 32 lbs per day as advertised. Con's> This ice maker worked great for 4 months, then it started making a weird noise and finally would not make ice. Pro's.> I called the company, they had me make a 10 second video of the issue, a week later they delivered a new ice maker. They stand behind their product. I have no complaints, just my luck I would get one that had an issue. I would buy another from this company because they did not give me any problems about making it right. Anything made by man can and will mess up from time to time. The only thing I would do different and this could be listed as a Con> The nugget ice melts faster than the cubes. If you like chewy ice this is a good one for that. If you want the ice to last longer buy the cube ice maker. Either way if this new ice maker goes down I would still buy another from this company.

Perfect nugget ice!
This ice maker is one of my favorite Amazon purchases! It’s easy to use and keep clean. It’s used daily and hasn’t had any issues with overheating. I may someday upgrade to a unit that holds more ice, but for 2 people, it’s perfect. It can be loud at times but only if it’s running for a longer period of time. Overall, it’s a great nugget ice maker that makes my morning iced coffees so very enjoyable!

Great unit, love nugget ice, here's my method for avoiding blocks of ice
The unit does what it's supposed to do. It's well made and doesn't take up too much room on the counter which is important to me as we have a fairly small kitchen. The sound of it is fine. Not too loud.I'm sharing a review because I had to do a lot of trial and error to get the unit to make ice in a way that worked for me.The default way of making ice that I tried, and that probably most people try is to just run the machine and throw the ice that's produced into a container in your freezer. For me this resulted in a block of ice because the cubes are very wet when they first come out. After a *lot* of trial and error I came up with this routine which works well.*Before taking the ice out of the machine shake it off in ice maker's basket as much as possible*Put the ice into a colander or similar draining device. Shake off the ice some more.*Put the ice into your freezer container and stir it into ice that's already in the container. This step is critical. Stirring the new wet ice in with drier already made ice will spread the water from the new ice around and help the new ice stay in separate nuggets and not freeze in clumps.*Wipe off excess water from the colander*Rinse and repeat
