great movie, horrible 3d and drm
I love this movie. I hate how hard it is to watch bluray movies on pc. The 3d experience also sucks at 24hz and it's unwatchable. After trying for days to get the disc to play on my computer in any player and to get the frame rate upscaled through svp and output 3d I gave up. 3d blu-ray are not viable unless you have a dedicated blu-ray player with 3d compatible motion smoothing. They are so concerned with pirating that you can't even play a disc you bought without jumping through hoops to satisfy the drm, and to get 3d output on a pc you have to roll back drivers. It's a mess. Just get 2d, it's a great movie.

Doesn’t play in US Players
While I appreciate that the dvd has a warning that it won’t play in US DVD players right on it so you can return it, I am annoyed by the fact that it says this is the version you ordered. I reread everything and it is not easy to see that this isn’t a standard dvd that isn’t formatted for US DVD players. Why not make it more obvious instead of writing that warning label on the packages?

Would not play.
Would not play. Apparently it was a Canadian or European version. Waste of money.

DVD won’t play in all players.
The DVD won’t play in any DVD player I have. It says it is not authorized in my region. The only reason I am giving two stars instead of one is because the return process has been relatively painless.

When I got it would not play.
It did not play. It wasn't due to damage but something regarding the coding of the product. Error message regarding able to play it came up on the screen.

for all
Wreck-It Ralph is a 2012 American computer-animated family-comedy film[4] produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures.[5] It is the 52nd animated feature in the Walt Disney Animated Classics series. The film was directed by Rich Moore, who has directed episodes of The Simpsons and Futurama, and the screenplay was written by Jennifer Lee and Phil Johnston from a story by Moore, Johnston and Jim Reardon. John Lasseter served as the executive producer. The film features the voices of John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman, Jack McBrayer, and Jane Lynch. A tribute to over 30 years of the gaming industry, the film tells the story of the eponymous arcade game villain who rebels against his role and dreams of becoming a hero. He travels between games in the arcade, and ultimately must eliminate a dire threat that could affect the entire arcade, and one that Ralph himself inadvertently started

Great film
My daughter watched this at the cinema with a friend when it was first out and came home raving about it, so I got the DVD for her.I have to say I am usually bored rigid in children's films and one has to be very entertaining for me to watch it all through. However, I really enjoyed this. There's nothing in it that I can see to worry or offend parents of younger children and yet there is a retro game theme running through it and plenty of humour to keep parents interested too. I really enjoyed the story and didn't drift off into boredom once. We watched it as a family and my husband enjoyed it too. Highly recommended.
