Freaking Awesome
I tried another product that didn't work, this one was designed correctly and cranks my Suzuki S40 right up. The major design flaw of competitors was that the boost button was built into their plug, which if you are trying to do a conversion to motorcycle cables didn't help. This unit with the combination of the quick disconnect power adapter allowed me to leave the motorcycle trickle charge cables connected and plug the battery straight in. I let the battery drain down to test. Cranks right up multiple times (like 5) and the battery still shows full power. After getting stranded and having to tow our bike (bump starting failed) I've been searching for a solution to avoid that hassle, this is it.

excellent product
I have used this twice and have been impressed both times. I have purchased the direct battery hook up for my Goldwing and have carried the alligator clips for my car. I originally purchased this to carry on my Goldwing for long distance trips due to small size and easy to pack. But, while working on my car this past week I managed to run the battery down to almost zero. So, when the car would not start, I hooked up the powerup 300 and bam. The car started with no problems. The 300 had been sitting in my motorcycle for two months with no charge and it still showed a full charge when I tested it prior to jumping my car. Truly impressed by the 300 and would recommend it to anyone. I'm getting one for my wife's car soon.

Absolute Waste of Money - Disappointing
I got this product as I have been making a lot of short trips (to physical therapy and the grocery store) after a knee injury. I did not want to get stranded or left in lurch due to a dead battery.Tried using the product, and the green light came on but by the time I went to go through they startup sequence it went off and would not jump my car. Tried to charge the battery pack - it did not charge after 12 hours and actually seemed to be decreasing the amount of power when I continued to charge.Did not work to my car. The battery pack will not even charge. Absolute waste of money. I am so disappointed - do not buy this if you need it for safety.

Great product!!
I use this on my motorcycle as a back up since having some bad luck with being stuck with a dead battery. installed their battery adapter and takes less than a min to jump start my bike when i have trouble. so far I have used it six times and it has no failed to start on the first try. Can't say enough good things for this item.

Great customer service
Had an issue with first unit, I recommend you buy a higher volt charger plug as well. Had to send first one back, customer service called me and sent up and exchange. He was awesome. Next one works perfectly. ( for use with a motorcycle)

Realiability and ease of use.
Received the unit with 75% charge. Charged it to 100% in about 3 hours. Next morning started a car with a fully dead battery 3 times!!! The first 2 times the engine died when the accelerator was released. After those three starts it was still showing 100% charge (4 lights). I love this very useful gadget!!!

Would not fully charge
2nd Update. As promised, commenting after we had to use the jump starter. We have had to use it twice. It was fully charged both times. The first time we were able to start the car. But, it ran the jump starter power down to close to zero. So, it was good for only one jump start on a full charge. We needed it again a few days later. This time we failed to attach it properly immediately (our fault, not Scosche's). This caused a slight drain on the jump starter. When we attached it properly it had drained just enough power, even though it was fully charged at the start, that it would not start the car. This is consistent with our first experience. A fully charged unit will jump start a car one time if it doesn't have to work too long before it loses so much power that it can't start it.Update on the won't charge discussion below: Initial rating one star. Manufacturer requested that we contact them. We did and they advised us that the wall adapter must have at least a 2 amp output. We tried that and the device charged just fine. Most wall adapters around the house are less than 2 amp. Scosche should advise in large red letters that a 2 amp output wall adapter is needed. We changed the rating from 1 to 3 stars since it really will charge, but it was a hassle to find out how (We thank Eric in Customer Service for explaining what we needed). We haven't had to use the jump starter yet (but, likely will soon). If it works well we will increase the stars. It came partially charged. Put it on charger overnight and into the next day. It never increased the charge. Requested a replacement. It came and had a lower charge than the first one. Left the replacement on the charger overnight or two consecutive nights. It never increased its charge. Tried for a third replacement, but could not get one. 11/22/20 Update-got that third jump starter yesterday. Put it on the charger. It has been on for almost 24 hours. Same problem. Still will not fully charge.
