Nutricost Grass Fed Whey Protein Isolate is an excellent product. When it says Unflavored, it means Unflavored. There is no taste at all. So blend it in with your favorite smoothie, for example. It is really a smooth powder and mixes very well. The ratio for me is one part whey protein isolate with four parts hemp hearts protein, plus whatever creative ingredients I wish to add. It always comes out really creamy with a very nice texture. I am trying to increase my muscle mass, so I guess it would be better if I used more whey and less hemp, but it WILL happen anyway; it will just take more time for that goal to be met since I am careful about not too much dairy (people's needs vary, of course). And the price is very fair. The only ingredients are whey protein and sunflower lecithin, and that is way cool!

Consumer Labs rates this the highest of the protein powders and the 5lb plastic jar lasts a long time in the back of my garage fridge. Great value when you catch a price reduction! Not chalky, no detectable flavor or smell in anything, mixes in well - I use a Nutriblend single smoothie machine. I can also to add to baked goods and some cooked dishes. Perfect.

First time buying this. As soon as I got this I opened it and tasted it dry. I was pleasantly surprised. The taste somewhat resembles powdered milk which is no surprise since it is milk protein. All those reviewers that said this tastes terrible are picky eaters and have no tolerance for anything that doesn't taste like a chocolate sundae. I bought this because it has 2 ingredients, is whey isolate, is grass fed and no artificial sweeteners and flavors. I am looking forward to using it. This will probably be my go to protein powder.

My husband and I noticed a change for the better when taking the supplement. However, the third bottle was sort of lumpy and tasted odd, almost moldy. I stopped using it. I don't know the return policy for this product. I will order again and see how the new bottle is.

I have been trying for a long time to find a protein powder that doesn't effect my stomach or give me brain fog. What interested me the most in trying this particular powder is the fact that it was not only third party tested but the fact that it only has two ingredients. I don't have to mix it with anything else to mask the after taste because to me there is no chalky taste. I have blended blueberries than stirred in the protein powder and it is very good but most of the time I drink it without adding anything. It dissolves very quickly. The key for me is to either stir or lightly tip a shaker cup back and forth so that it doesn't get a lot of thick foam which happens with heavy shaking and in a blender. I have used it for pre & post workout as well as a substitute for a meal. I am so pleased that I am able to finally get more protein in my body without any side effects.

Great product and I highly recommend

I have used Nutricost whey protein powder concentrate unflavored for years. No problems. Does not taste great, does not taste terrible. Dissolves completely in a shaker bottle. Has neither sugar nor artificial sweetener. So far, so good. For my recent order, I realized there is a specific grass fed version so I tried that. This batch or this version is clumping up in the shaker bottle. Does not completely dissolve. This is unacceptable.

i brought this last December7,2025 on my first test of half spoon in 150ml of water exactly no test by next day i trying to mix in low calorie soya milk no flavor same amount of water on my first test, on 3rd trial i mix in 1cup of water melon in half spoon unflavored whey protein so i like the taste, the taste is organic its from natural fruits, i am sure it is good for banana shake with fresh milk but i can not do this cause i have allergy in dairy. before i forget the last tips i use half spoon because this is my first time using of whey protein. buying of unflavored whey protein powder you must make your own flavored
