Kinda okay but ultimately forgettable tie-in comic with some nice art
The story is all over the place at times. It tries (too hard for my taste) to include some of the characters from the current game 's "Freedom Chronicles" DLC without really doing anything with them apart from.. showing them. This leads to some awkward pacing, especially throughout the first third of the book, as well as some forced exposition dialogue which doesn't seem to add up to anything. The most interesting part is the story about a german general called Hartmann who's obsessed with the ancient Thule mythos. After discovery of a sunken city, his team excavates its remains to build a *new* Castle Wolfenstein. It's not really clear if this is *the* Castle Wolfenstein from The Old Blood, the older games or an entirely new, separate entity. From the looks alone it has to be a separate building, but I'm not sure how much effort the writers put into continuity with the games. Or if this comic book is to be considered canon at all.The storyline about Hartmann and his new - albeit haunted - castle is probably the book's strongest part, implementing horror elements inspired by the works of H. P. Lovecraft and his Cthulhu mythos.Unfortunately, though, the book ultimately fails to leave a lasting impression on the reader as the parts leading up to and following the "haunted castle" part are borderline boring and uninspiring, filled with annoying dialogue and uninteresting characters. Also, main protagonist and badass Blazkovicz is hardly in this book! So if you're looking for some kick-ass Nazi killing action starring the games' hero, this unfortunately isn't the book you're looking for. Which is a shame as I really liked the art style and was hoping for something to expand on the interesting post-war world of Wolfenstein. Too bad.

Buen comic para coleccionistas
La historia expande un poco más el lore de Wofestein con un dibujo de estilo retro e historia con bastantes dosis de acción al igual que el videojuego. Ideal para fans de Wolfestein. No recomendable para no entendidos del juego.
