A great book at a fantastic price
I bought this to go in a baby shower hamper. The mum ro be loved it, and it is a really well illustrated book; a lovely classic story.At the time of buying it cost lest than £3 which I think is a real bargain, and it's also a great size!

Excellent book for kids
This is a really lovely book. The story and writing is perfect and inline with the story from my youth and the illustrations are beautiful. My boys 3 & 4 love it and they can be quite fussy.

This is THE version to have!! Instantly loved and I'm sure we will for years to come!
Perfect traditional tales for 3 year olds! I have been looking for a decent version of the old tales for a long long time! Most decent ones are out of print now. As an early years teacher I am pretty (VERY) fussy about books. I was really really impressed with how well written these tales are - I now have four different ones in the series. Still keeps all the catchphrases we know and love, can be kept simple or loads to elaborate on with text, voices, illustrations, and lovely use of language, rhyme, alliteration etc etc etc! Even my husband enjoyed bedtime stories with these! Watching our little boy enraptured with these tales has been a real joy. THANKYOU!!!

It’s an fantastic book
I remember having this read to me at school and now I can read it to my daughter she loves this book it’s easy to read pages a big and bright would highly recommend this book

A fun read!
An old favourite, but as fresh as ever to young ears. Little grandson loves this soft back book and enjoys the illustrations. He has great fun trip-trapping like the billy goats, and pretending to slobber and drool like the troll, along with Ganny!
