It's so easy and connects right the first time. It does take a bit longer to connect than via cable but it works great so far and i love that it's wireless !!! Works great with my iphone 14pro max iOS 17 public beta release. No issues at all ! :)

Couldn’t decide on 2 or 3 stars. Sometimes it connects just fine. Sometimes after I unplug it and plug it back in. Sometimes it doesn’t connect at all. My car screen shows an error so I have to leave it unplugged so I can use other features. I have updated the firmware and no difference.

I bought this product after trying out a much cheaper device that failed after only a few weeks. I have been using the Carlinkit 5.0 for about 2 months now, and it works seamlessly for the most part. My phone is usually connected and ready to play music within 10 seconds or so of starting my car up. I redacted a star because once in a while, my phone will refuse to connect to it, and this usually requires a power cycle of the Carlinkit to fix the issue, which isn’t much of a hassle, but can be annoying when you’re on the go or running late.

I have been a customer of Amazon for 20+ years and bought hundreds of products without complaint and without return. I rarely (if ever) have written a review. However, this purchased compels me to write one, as a public service, to save the next unsuspecting victim from falling for this scam. If you value your money, your time or your sanity, do not buy this product.(1) The advertising is false and the product DOES NOT work with Android 13 and 2021 vehicles running Android.(2) The documentation that accompanies the product is not merely grossly insufficient, it is dead wrong. For example, the instructions for updating the firmware are actually completely incorrect. You have to use a laptop with two NICs in order to find your way into the web interface, and even then, changing those settings will not improve a negative outcome.If you have a wired connection between a Samsung phone and your car's Android-based system, don't fall for this one, or you will regret it.

I hae a Carlink 2 that works well so I thought the the 5.0 would improve the 2-3 second lag from pressing the play or pause buttons. Well that got better but the cut outs are were consistent and it freezes every few days on my Ford F150 Sync 2 system. the older unit was flawless. Update's have yet to address issues. I recommend trying it if it works for your car great if not send it back.

I got this product because my car unfortunately didn’t come with the navigation system however it most definitely does the job! The only downside is that it will occasionally disconnect and sometimes you have to turn your car off and back on for it to properly connect and from time to time, the audio (listening to music) cuts out. Other than that, I love it so much and I would definitely pick this over struggling to plug in your phone and figuring out where to place it.
