After a few years the surface coating on the steering wheel of our Rav4 was starting to look a bit rough and wear was evident underneath the spots where we normally grip the wheel. This has a very nice sporty look and once installed provides a firm grip on the wheel. I find I even like the feel of the wheel better now that it has some additional diameter with the cover.

Great cover, fits a Toyota Corolla 2006 well. Make sure you follow instructions on letting it sit in the sun for about 20min for the material to be easily stretched when putting it on.

This is challenging to stretch onto your steering wheel unless you warm it up in the sunshine first. The manufacturers actually recommend this, and its true. I left it out in the sunshine for a half hour on the hood of my car (about 75 degrees sunny weather when I did it), and that did the trick. Also, make sure you orient it correctly before you get it fully onto your steering wheel because you won't really be able to adjust it after you get it on. Starting it from the bottom makes it easier to but the stitch at the bottom middle of the steering wheel, however it is a little more difficult to get on by pulling on the top. It is easier to start from the top and pull down, and work your way around one side, then the other before getting the bottom slipped on - but its a little harder to get the center stitch in the right place. I managed to get it on and oriented correctly, so it is far from impossible. Just do your best.

Right out of the box I really liked the feel and stylish appearance. The solid black cover was neutral with my black Rav4 wheel. The fit was tight, as expected, and the cover stays in place and does not slip. I ordered three different covers to try, and this was tied for second. All three covers are on the thick side, but that too, is to be expected. Because this is a slip on, it does not cover the entire wheel (inner side) like a lace up cover would, again, also what I was expecting. So, this was everything I was expecting, and this was the most expensive of the three. Although we returned it, it gets 4 Stars for quality and feel, but not quite 5 Stars because of the price.

I do not like this product because it does not work with my heated steering wheel. In addition you can’t send it back because it comes from China and it’s over $200 to send it back through UPS. so needless to say I have a steering wheel cover I cannot use and I am out 32.00 do not buy the steering wheel. If you plan to send it back make sure you read the small print when you order items off of Amazon.
