Great product for the price... but if you have a mandolin slicer, it will do just as good of a job!
This is a great option for an affordable spiralizer compared to the other, much more expensive options. The blades are nice and sharp and I like how they make nice, continuous/long "zoodles". Make sure you use the little safety guard thing though because I forgot to once and totally sliced my thumb, and badly! I will say that the only issue I have with it is that it tends to get clogged up in the middle cone section with all the seeds/inside of the zucchini, and I can never seem to slice the very last tip because it's too short to continue spinning around inside the cone. I feel like it wastes a good little chunk of zucchini. To be honest, I tried using my mandolin slicer with its skinny blade attachment and I feel like it did just as good if not better to make consistent zoodles and quickly. Like I said, this is a great option if you want an actual spiralizer, but if you're on the fence about buying one and already have a mandolin, I would just stick with what you've got!

So great I wish I had bought this sooner!
Ok... This thing is soooo awesome! I bought one of those upright " zoodlers" with the clear compartment that was supposed to save space and it was kinda terrible...unless there was some trick that I couldn't figure out to get the veggies to actually come out with some length. I actually didn't use the Gourmia right away because I was anticipating that it would be another fail..but, it worked so well right out of the box! I was immediately impressed with how easy it was to use and a little upset that I hadn't tried it sooner. It is also compact and easy to clean. The only drawback, as others reported, is that you need to use something other that the piece they provided to push the veggies all the way in. Some suggested a fork, which I tried, but it seems a corn cob holder would be perfect for this! I'm gonna get one for one of my vegan friends. Hope this review is helpful, enjoy all!

Not bad for a first spiralizer.
Works well so far. It seems to be well made, but is difficult to clean as little specks of food get stuck in the blades which are very sharp. I especially enjoy that it has 3 different blades. The "pusher" is pretty mush useless, as it tears through the food and then slips, and it doesn't push in far enough (wastes a lot of food). I use a fork instead (push it into the end of the food when it gets too small to turn by hand). The pusher also doesn't lock into the device so it won't stay together in the drawer.

Sharp Blades!
I've used it once so far and it works exactly as advertised! My zucchini noodles turned out well! The little cap that comes with it isn't as useful for vegetables with a small diameter (carrots, some zucchini), but you can do it just as well by hand. Only be careful - the blades are extremely sharp and I hacked into my fingers trying to use up every last bit of the vegetable... Next time I will use a fork for the last inch. Because of the injury I threw the slicer into the dishwasher and it cleaned up nicely, but in general it doesn't seem too hard to clean by hand either.Very nice tool, especially considering the price. I will give it as gifts to family members in the future!

Spirals are flat
Just used my spiralizer for the first time. It seems to stick to the cupboard quite well and is easy to use. I got it to spiralize sweet potato's .. I thought the spirals would come out like curly fries but they are flat .. i have not cooked the spirals yet . don't think they will take that long to cook since they are smaller than i wanted and flat.

Wonderful spiralizer...
This is much better than the other one I had tried to purchase. I had one similar to this in Germany. I love this handy kitchen tool. It makes a great presentation on your plate and is versatile for different vegetables. The only problem is that food gets caught in the blades. You can buy a small brush to get it out. Still Highly recommend otherwise! It's wonderful. No regrets.Update: 31 August 2017- I used this tonight. I made very nice spiralized mixed veggies. I love this item in my kitchen! But be careful for your fingers. I cut my finger really bad (blood everywhere) while turning my vegetable when it got low into the cutter. It's Really sharp! Be careful.

Fun kitchen tool!!
Zoodles are my new favorite food! I have scoffed at the spiral cutters for years, but now that I am enjoying a veggie-laden diet I decided to give it a whirl. This version is affordable and easy to use once you know all of the parts. My first attempt was with a slightly over-ripe cucumber. I had a little trouble with the learning curve since it was kinda mushy. But then I tried zucchini!! My first dish was Pad Thai with zoodles and chicken. I actually twirled the zoodles around my fork just like with pasta. I am telling everyone about my discovery! I want to spiralize all of vegetables now.

Kut investment
Price is good. It’s not a professional kitchen appliances but it’s more than good enough for us. We probably use once a week. And if You treated with a little bit of respect it should be good for many years to come

Poor design
It doesn't work well. The blades are sharp but it only grinds up until the last 3 inches of food. And the blade doesn't go to the bottom so you get one large slice and a few smaller slices. If you happen to have 2 foot long vegetables that are a few inches thick you may like it otherwise.

IT'S OK FOR THE PRICE
IT'S OK FOR THE PRICE IT DOES THE JOB...RECEIVED IN PERFECT CONDITION.BUT WOULD NOT BUY AGAIN... DOES'NT WORK AS WELL ON VERY HARD VEGETABLE LIKE CARROTS \ TURNIPSGREAT ON ZUCCHINI AND CUCUMBERS ECT,,I RECOMMEND INVESTING A LITTLE MORE FOR A BETTER ONE

Veg noodles
It's fun, works. Not bad but takes some fiddling to set up, clean, and put away each time. I've seen the simple hand held ones that are obviously easier to work and clean. The Advantage is this is faster for more volume.

Yay, zucchini noodles!
I love this little thing. The only thing I can think of to improve would be to make the spikes on the crank part out of metal. It's probably possible to break them off on the blades if you're not paying attention.

It works
Softer vegetables like zucchini spiralize easily. Carrots don't. The pieces are kind of fiddly. My husband didn't enjoy using it.
