Good for oversize CAN wire
I mentor a robotics team and we use these connectors to wire the CAN bus. The CAN wire we use has insulation that is a bit thick so we would have to strip it to get it into our old connectors. With this we just insert, press and we're done. The connection is strong and secure.

Really are 3M Scotchlok
Apparently 3M sold all it's telephone connectors to Corning. No change to excellent quality.

The pictures show that these are 3M, but they are not. They are a generic brand. They work ok so far but they are not 3M branded
