Works perfectly
This item fully met my expectations,and works perfectly when connecting my older TV set to my new Virgin Box.The gadget does need to connect to a power supply via a USB plug (not a 3-pin mains plug). So if your TV doesn't have a USB slot (like mine) then make sure that you can connect via whatever TV Box you have. My Virgin Tivo box has a spare USB slot, so the whole thing works perfectly for me.

Works very well I had an old VHS video recorder which I use to watch old videos unfortunately it stopped being usable so I installed this via a HDMI input then start to video and it works fine it was reasonably priced solidly made so recommended.

It worked brilliantly. It was a great purchase
Bought this to work with my Virgin V6 and my VCR. It took the HDMI signal from the V6 box and converted it to a SCART signal so it could work with my VCR. It worked brilliantly. It was a great purchase.

Bought this product for a friend to connect PlayStation 4to a non HDTV and it worked just fine.

Works OK, but requires separate power supply.
Requires a 5v DC power supply, which is not mentioned in the product description, and which does not come in the box.You need to take care to order a power supply with the correct size of connector.The connector then works as described.
