Very fragile
Really disliked having to wire it up and then add the switch unit to faceplate. Having wired it up it didn't appear to function the same way as the faulty one it was supposed to replace. First it worked and dimmed the lights. However, when trying to use the other switch in the kitchen nothing happened which was weird as the cable sockets were labelled the same as the old one. Once wired up you have to add the faceplate which hides the screws for the wires and also makes it possible to scratch the front as you try and tighten the nut. Then when screwing it into place it broke making it useless. This wasn't done with excessive force it just seems very weak material. Never had one break like that before. So overall a big fail. Hard to recommend this at all.

Nice dimmer, missing parts on one switch.
I ordered two of these dimmers. They work very well with low draw leds. They looks nice, however slightly disappointing that one switch didn’t include plastic caps to complete the flush look. The packaging and included fixing each switch was slightly different.

Exactly what I needed
We decided to get a new, modern, light fitting for our lounge. The old one had the old light bulbs and a dimmer switch. We liked this feature. It was great to be able to dim the lights, just like a cinema. They were also switched on or off from either of two switches, one at each lounge door. Having read reviews, etc. we knew that the LED bulbs would need to be non-flicker. You've guessed -- they flickered! Searching Amazon we found this replacement dimmer switch. It is perfect. It was a simple task to take out the old switch, make sure the wires went into the correct connections and put the cover back on. The light now dims, without flickering, and can be switched on or off from either of our two switches. Brilliant!
