Febr. 2024. Bought 2 x 16 GB Ram for DS923+, installed and not a single non-Synology warning at all. The long-distance shipping from the USA to the Netherlands also went completely without any problems. Seller is highly recommended as far as I am concerned.

I installed two modules into my Synology DS1821+ and everything is working perfectly. System recognized 32GB, the memory test passed, and no warnings displayed that usually come with unofficial memory.Very pleased with this purchase. It's preferable to paying the exorbitant prices that Synology demands for their official memory modules.

I was looking for a cost effective way to max out memory to 32GB for my Synology DS923+ equipped with 3 Exos X16 (16TB) drives. This product M474A2K43BB1-CTD from NEMIX comes with good reviews and it does not disappoint. Synology DS923+ did not complaint after installation. It has been running well for 3 days. Time will tell and so far so good.

Synology has begun kind of demanding that you use their RAM in newer Synology servers. It must be ECC (error correcting) RAM to work at all. But if it's not Synology brand ECC RAM, I've read that the server reports it as non-approved when initially started.Well, I bought this 16GB stick of ECC RAM to add to the 4GB stick already in my new Synology DS1621+ and it has worked perfectly with no warning message since I added it a month ago, including a number of restarts. So I think this is the way to go. It's ECC, it's half the cost of the equivalent Synology 16GB stick, and it works just fine. I'm glad I bought it. In fact, I read it suggested somewhere that this could be the same manufacturer source as the Synology-branded RAM. I don't know if that's the case, but it's possible.....

Bought this to add to my 923+'s stock 4GB. Worked on the first try. I have yet to do a memory test with Synology Assistant, but everything looks good so far. The system recognized it with no errors or warnings.Update: The stick passed a memory test without issues. Also, note that this is one single memory stick with 16 GB, not 2 sticks with 8 GB each. This means you can add it to the second slot of your unit and add it to the memory your unit came with.
