Great Bug Zapping Swatter.
Thus far, this has been an excellent bug zapper. I was weary of the effectiveness of the "always on purple light" mode, but it works very well. The light isn't too bright to be distracting, but it's bright enough to get the insects attention. It occasionally has issues zapping fruit flies since they are teeny-tiny, but it does get em. This thing has taken down wasps, lantern flies, house flies, moths, etc. I also think the battery life is pretty good.

High-Quality, Rechargeable Bug Zapper – Dual Function is a Game Changer!
These electric fly swatters have exceeded my expectations! The overall build quality is excellent—solid construction that doesn’t feel flimsy like some of the cheaper alternatives out there. One of my favorite features is that it’s rechargeable, which not only saves money on batteries but is also super convenient. The charge holds for a surprisingly long time, even with regular use.The dual-mode setting is fantastic. When set to the bug zapper light mode, it works just like a mini bug light, attracting and zapping flying insects effectively. It’s perfect for indoor use or while relaxing outside in the evening. We've used it in both situations with great results.A quick word of caution—yes, it can give you a little zap if you accidentally touch the grid while it's activated, but it’s more startling than painful. Still, it's a good idea to keep it out of reach of kids or curious pets.If you’re dealing with mosquitoes, gnats, or flies and want a convenient, powerful solution that doubles as a bug light, this swatter is absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!

Great buy
Needed to upgrade my electric fly water. I’m so glad that I chose this one.Has some great features and also is pretty cool.Definitely feel like these bugs have an execution coming whenever I have this thing in my hand. It’s pretty it has a stand where you could stand it up so it doesn’t touch anything also rechargeable which is great. And there’s also a function where you could switch it on so you don’t have to completely just hold the button. Functionality is top-notch and it seems pretty quality. Easy to use and highly recommend.

Zaps even the smallest of pests
I bought this primarily to combat a gnat infestation and, for the most part, it’s been worth it. The electric “mesh” is fine enough to get the little bug(gers) without worrying about them passing through unharmed and, on a single charge, the battery lasts quite a while, which is important because…While I like that it comes with a “passive zapper” mode, the “UV” light that is meant to attract bugs is barely visible in the dark, so it’s not as effective as a dedicated zapper unit might be. However, when a bug is unlucky enough to accidentally fly into it, it gives a startling, yet satisfying pop. Most of the time it seems to kill on contact, sometimes it stuns, so I have to be quick to finish the job.Anyway, I find myself mostly waving the thing around in passive mode in case I happen to come in contact with a bug, I don’t miss it by forgetting to hold down the zap button. Thus, the long battery life comes in handy during these standoffs. Since waving it around recklessly is likely the “indented” use case, I only docked a star for the bad light.I’d like to try it out on large insects, but then I’d have a real problem on my hands.Point being, don’t expect it to stand around and do all the work for you.Remember, the only good bug is a dead bug.

Worth it.
Works super well. I placed it next to my lamp cuz that is where all the little gnats and moths congregate. It keeps scaring the crap out of me because every time it zaps one, it is VERY LOUD and there is a little white flash. It has greatly reduced my evening irritation from trying to wave annoying little gnats out of my face. It is also super fun to wield it like a weapon and run around zapping the little pests with it.Fair price, lightweight. The purple glow is very dim, almost unnoticeable in a lit room. But it is clearly seen in the dark. Though it isn't blinding or anything. The stand is sturdy enough, but I wish the base were heavier and made of stone or wood or something heavy, as you can tip it over easily by barely bumping it. Definitely a cheap plastic base, but it works well enough, I suppose. The full charge does not last long, so if you want to leave it on all night you have to have it plugged in. It only lasts an hour or two.

Very effective, powerful bug zapper, highly recommended!
Excellent! I have had a few of these tennis racket style electric bug zappers over the years, they all seem to work okay, until the batteries got low. Then it appeared that many of the fruit flies and flies I was zapping were simply just stunned for a while, and got back up to annoy me again! So I opted to get this one because it has 4,000 volts, and is rechargeable, so no draining battery issues, it even has indicator lights to let you know when it's getting low and needs a recharge! Plus, you can put it on the full on mode so you don't have to hold the button down and really go to town on those pesky bugs! It sounds like a machine gun when it hits a bunch of them, a little loud but worth the noise - kills bugs dead! I haven't tried leaving it running in the stand as yet, but I do think that would work on mosquitoes. It looks sharp, made with quality, lightweight and easy to wield, the purple light is very cool looking. It's better made than the inferior ones I had before, don't cheap out just to save a few bucks, spend the extra money and get this one, you won't be disappointed! I should know that only a couple of bugs survive the electric screen, it seems some fruit flies are so small they can pass right through unscathed, but it's pretty rare. The kill ratio is very high with this one!
