Very accurate, maybe a bit too much
This laser receiver works great with a green laser line level. I'm using this to lay out a foundation every 4 or 6ft level agrees on dead level. This is so accurate that it's tough to get it zeroed, it bounces between high and low with a tiny twitch of the hand, maybe a bit too accurate actually. I like very accurate, so I consider this a valuable tool to do layout of anything that needs to be perfectly flat and level.

It works
I got it for my cross laser level that has the pulse mode. It works with it.I didn’t have to use it yet, but I checked if it’s working and it works. It doesn’t find the laser super quickly, but I guess it’s ok.Thank you!

Great accuracy and usability, even in bright sun
The media could not be loaded. I use a professional grade one of these at work, and while the professional one is built to be more dropproof and waterproof - this little guy seems to be just as accurate. The audible indicator is easy to hear and intuitive, and there are indicating LEDs on both the front and the back. More than accurate enough for diy projects and advanced level homeowner building. I was using a green plane laser and it worked great. That said, there are a few shortcomings that you should know about.1) The levels indicate both vertical and horizontal on the plane of the receiver - but there is no circular bubble level to indicate if the receiver is level to the rod. For deeper or taller measurements, this could be an issue. Easily fixed by using a level as your rod - you aren't going to want to drop your level in concrete.2) There is no adjustable sensitivity (ie 1/8 or 1/16) and no indication of the amount you are out. The receiver is very sensitive (which is good!) but that means you are stuck on the 1/16 level which is excessively tight for some things, like setting forms. Again, not the end of the world, but would be nice to be able to dial it down a bit.Overall this is a great receiver that works in full sunlight and has great accuracy - especially for the price.

Only works with their laser
I’m a heavy equipment operator with approximately 30 years in asphalt paving and a lot of experience using state of the art grade control systems such as Topcon, AgTech, and Trimble. I never expected this to be even comparable and it definitely is not however I did expect it to work with the two transits I already own. It can only detect the pulsing beam in their brand of laser which is ridiculous. Even Topcon works with other brand detectors. Worse yet, it won’t work with any rotating lasers which are industry standard. Both of those facts are deal breakers making this unworthy of consideration. While not a deal breaker but very disappointing is that the maximum beam distance is very low. I’d assume even that sad distance is exaggerated. In theory it works very similar to the other brands of detectors. It’s screwed to an adjustable grade stake or pole and is slowly dialed into the correct elevation. Elevation, cross slope, and other adjustments of grade are adjusted at the laser to establish a zero. Once that’s done, it’s just a matter of pointing the detector towards the laser and zeroing the sliding scale on the grade stake/pole and zeroing that out. These don’t tell you an actual measurement, they just let you know that they are either too high, too low, or right on. This type of technology is on its way out in favor of GPS but is still very common on job sites.I gave it 3 stars because they did say it was only compatible with their laser. I assumed that was marketing and it would work with at least one of mine. I can’t give them one star because of that but I don’t think it is worth buying their transit either.Although I was unable to use this and will likely never use it and I won’t ever buy their laser, this is a hard pass all the way around, including any other additional items. Get an established brand.

Great detector for my laser
In the process of a DIY home build, I found the use of a multiple axis laser device invaluable. Unfortunately, my original detector magically grew legs and walked off the job one day. About that time, this item came available and I gave it a shot. It has worked flawlessly and seems to be more rugged than the one I had which was another brand. Actually, this one seems to have better coverage at different angles. I'd definitely recommend and would add another to my toolbox to have 2 on hand when shooting multiple spots without moving the emmiter or detector. It is working well for my project and I'm sure it would do well under more continuous duty. Oh and did I say it's rugged? It's been dropped from as high as 20ft and suffered no more damage than a mark on the housing.

Great Addition for a Laser Level
If your laser level has the long-distance pulse mode feature, this device is a must have. It allows you to precisely locate the laser beam further away than you normally would. It is especially helpful outside in brighter light. I have now used it out to about 150 feet. I never could have accurately picked it out at that range without this device. The unit itself is well-built and compact. It fits nicely in my laser level's case, so that is super convenient. The face of the unit includes the target display and two bubble levels to help get it properly positioned. The display makes it very clear when you have hit the target and it also gives you a tone to go along with the visual alert. They have even added LED's to the back so you know when the laser is in the right spot if you are viewing from behind. Overall, this is a handy unit and a very good value.
