Excellent , affordable flashlight
I am very happy with this Acebeam flashlight. The headband is light and flexible and it's easy to forget it's on.The flashlight is plenty bright , too bright on turbo id say but for a small light it's fantastic. The only issue I have come up on is sometimes the light goes into a mode (not lockout) and I have to loosen the cap and reseat the battery to make the light turn on.Other than that, for the price you can't beat this flashlight.

Very nicely made headlamp style flashlight that has so many uses.
There are so many choices in the headlamp market these days. ACEBEAM has been in the flashlight industry for many years and they make some seriously impressive and expensive flashlights. This model has the Nichia 519A emitter, and I selected the NW (neutral white). It's a very decent neutral looking beam. Alkaline AA and NiMH AA are supported, but it's best to use a 14500 lithium cell for best performance. When I bought mine, ACEBEAM did include the 14500, which also has a port built in for USB charging. The anodizing is beautifully done. Very clean. The built-in magnet in the tailcap is strong. Does not really overheat very badly when on high. If you get it on sale for less than $25, I'd say it's a very good buy.

I like it... on NIMH
On the supplied 14500 battery... firefly is about the same output as it is on low... which is too bright. On a NiMH AA firefly is a barely perceptible glow... which is perfect. That's what firefly mode should be, just enough light to locate it at night. on NIMH the output modes are easily spaced, and predictably nowhere close to the lumen ratings. on NIMH/Alkaline high is in my opinion close to 70 lumens. It never gets hot on NIMH even on high mode, and as many said there's no spill, its sort of a "inspection type" of moon beam with a little spill. Other than the high CRI claim nothing else on their claim about the light materialized. Bought this as a Amazon Lightning deal, so $20 wasn't bad.the 14500 battery is nowhere near the 920mah claim either. My sample appeared to be about 300mah,. and discharges by itself just sitting there. I'll charge it to green (4.1V) and it'll read 3.9V under a week... meaning for whatever weird reason the battery lost 40% of its capacity just sitting on my desk. I recycled it after draining it completely down at the local battery store. The tail magnet is reasonably strong and is easily removable.

Pocket light
Several trips through a washing machine, countless drops, and many found objects in dark parking lots. Why more people do not have some sort of flashlight ... but it is always in my pocket or tank/tail bag on the motorcycle the magnetic base is super handy for roadside issues. The cost of the unit has fluctuated since I purchased, luckily I had a gift card but regardless it would be worth every or any pennies paid for light when its needed

Great little light.
This fits great in a travel bag or an emergency kit. I like the head band option too. Plan on getting another one. Yeah, pick one up.

Amazing value
This flashlight is a great deal. I bought mine back in December and have had it with me since. It is way brighter than I expected from such a small flashlight. The USB-C chargeable AA battery is amazing too. The only negative I have about it is that if the butt plate twists at all the light turns off. It doesn’t happen all of the time but it does happen. I still highly recommend this light though and bought a second one for my son.

Priced high
Priced to high for what you get, I purchased 3 over a year ago and they wer no where near $30 , however, I will say that they get used almost every night & they are still as bright as the Sun when I want them to be . They show up with extra “O” rings but they should swap that out for an extra battery, I’d give em 5 stars however for what u get they are priced to expensive for what I got . Charging takes a little longer than expected & they die out fairly fast after a year . All in all , good light but priced to high & let’s get honest, never , never ( remember I own 3) have anyone of the 3 Ive purchased come close to the 54 hour run time advertised, not even on its lowest-dim setting. The magnetic tail-foot stands strong enough to hold the flashlight by itself only, not with the skull band attached
