Best Raspberry Pi sound card for low latency audio (from microphone to loudspeaker)
I ordered already 11 of the stereo sound card from Audioinjector. We use it for building a Raspberry Pi based prototype of a hearing aid where latency is a major issue. There are very few, mostly USB-based, mobile and available alternatives; none of which can compete in terms of latency, form factor, and price. The setup with Raspbian is as simple as changing one line in a configuration file. The configuration with the console-based alsamixer tool requires to read the instructions, but then works as expected.Caution is advised, as the driver achieves high output volumes with in-ear head sets.I leave the output master level at -25dB to avoid accidentally harming anyones hearing. It would be even "more perfect" (but that is asking to much) if a microphone pre-amplifier would be also integrated. If you are looking for a simple and effective (and economic!) solution to low-latency audio with the Raspberry Pi, I can highly recommend this device.

Low latency audio input and high quality output, easy installation
This is pretty much exactly what I've been looking for. I wanted to be able to record my guitar on my Raspberry Pi 3 and this does the job wonderfully. Visit the website and get the installation instructions but it's really easy to do, just run a script which you can download from the website and then connect the phono plug inputs to the outputs and run a test and you're up and running. Works well with Ardour and Audacity. I did a latency check and it came back with 0.25 ms, I'm not sure if that's correct but there's no noticeable latency. The audio output is good quality as well, there's a bit of background noise but that may be some electrical interference from one of my gizmos.

Currently this is by far the best Raspberry PI audiocard available
Currently this is by far the best Raspberry PI audiocard available:- it works out of the box (this is a major improvement over the other cards I tested)- the recording and playback quality is very good- great support from Flatmax StudiosI would recommend this over any other Raspberry PI soundcard.

Great value for a great product. Well done!
I've had mine a few days. Install and set-up is quick and easy. Flatmax Studio's support and customer response times are exemplary! I really can't find a fault with it Great price too. (Dispite the image I can see at the moment is NOT device I bought. I bought one without a mic [the little black circle above the bottom White phono connector on the image I can currently see.] I didn't need a mic, but Flatmax do one with a mic built-in for a few more pounds). I've attached a picture (from their Amazon page of the model without a mic)
