Good books
As a home schooling mum I needed something that would work as worksheets for our science work. Having seen younger siblings use CPG for revision I opted for these books. The benefit of using these books is that they appear very attractive and each page layout is brilliant. Each topic has two page layout, so there isn't a lot of reading that needs to be done (which for a 5 year old can be very boring). It also means, that once an overview of a topic has been looked at and activity completed we can go on to either conduct our own experiments in that area or talk further about it without following restrictions on book pages. The main overall benefit is that a topic is nicely introduced and all the main areas are covered quickly and swiftly without the child feeling chained to a textbook (which cannot be expected at that age).I would recommend to anyone considering science books.

Great for year 2 ks1
My sons just gone into year 2, and I wanted to help him following the school curriculum. Its a very simple book, not overwhelming info, just simple and exactly to the point as they would learn in school.

Good book
Good bite sized topics to get a grasp on things and kids don’t get overwhelmed with too much information. Easy to complete and lots of space to write answers. Good for ages 5-7.

Very useful revision guide
Very useful for revision and checking the little one was where she should be. She felt a little insecure that she had gotten a lot wrong in a class test so we used this book as a guide . It is useful

Varied topics but not much depth in my opinion.
We've had quite a few of the Collins Home learning books, which we've been pleased with, but I thought we would try this one for a bit of science during lockdown. I'm a bit disappointed as it feels a little disjointed. The topics are varied but don't really go in to quite enough depth in my opinion. More difficult to just pick up and do a couple of pages than the Collins ones. Could be better.
