Great lock at a great price.
I purchased two of these units. One for the main entrance and one for the garage. I found them easy to instal and high quality. I love the fact that there are so many options for operating the lock between the swipe card, code or phone app, I am very pleased with this purchase. We have been using them for about 4 months. I have definitely spent lots more money for some of the known name brands and not been as happy with the functionality.I notice that some reviewers are confused about the fact that you need the gateway in order to enable the remote capabilities of the lock and be able to operate remotely when away from the home. I was aware of this and purchased the additional gateway, which gave me the full features that I was looking for.

Great functionality and value for the price
Works great! I love this little lock, it was easy to set up and the functionality is perfect. The app is also very good, you can see battery life and when the door was opened with which codes. It has all the functionality of much more expensive electronic locks.

Very disappointed
Works great but disappointed because I thought that I was ordering one with a finger print pad in the lock. This one you have to open the app on your phone to use the fingerprint which defeats the purpose for why I wanted it. As a 100% disabled person I fell in love with the fingerprint pad in the lock at my Lodge because I can unlock it with my hands full. However with this one I have to struggle with my phone to do the fingerprint thing. I'm searching for a different one for the front door as I have installed one of the two that I bought on the back door.

I called customer service few times in two days and no one was able to explain in simple words what to do, except Lizzett. She was vey professional and guide me in every single step in Spanish. I love her services 🥰

Veise Smart Lock - Great Purchase
We purchased this Veise Smart Lock To replace another make that was discontinued and parts were not available from the manufacturer anymore.Right out of the box the installation was as simple as could be. Using the template provided we found the holes in the door we exact with the exception of a 3/8” hole needed for the top mount. We marked the hole and drilled a 3/16” pilot hole followed by a 3/8” which we drilled from each side of the door to eliminate any tear out. Installed the deadbolt assembly & striker plate first followed by the top mount stud on the exterior lock assembly. The rest was simple filling the instructions to install the backing plate inside with the exterior latch making sure the wire was located correctly under the deadbolt assembly. Finished by installing the circuit board assembly on the interior, connecting the wiring and installing the batteries. The gaskets seal the lock assembly to the door very well.With the app installed on my phone the setup was simple. Added a master code and a separate code for my neighbor that watches our home when we are away. Programming the fob’s was simple using the app on my phone to setup.All in all, I’m very happy with this keyless lock. With the added features, that were not available on the old keyless lock, we are now able to unlock the door from our car when parked in the driveway. This is great especially when we have groceries to carry in. My wife loves the fob option so she can unlock without using a code. We highly recommend this well made lock. We didn’t purchase the remote addition but the Bluetooth works fine from anywhere in our home so we can lock or unlock using the app.

Keypad is disappointing
On a positive note, I was able to install the lock without much trouble and it functions reasonably well with the app. The HUGE negative is that the keypad is extremely difficult to use. First, is the fact that you have to press on it for it to illuminate. It is likely you will also press a number trying to simply get it to light up, which means you've already entered a number. SO, the number you think you're entering will be wrong and the lock won't open. The documentation on passcodes is horrible. It doesn't tell you to enter the "#" key after the number. Or the fact that the "*" key clears the entries, allowing you to correct the mistake.EDIT: I upgraded my rating from two to three stars because once the quirks of the keypad were understood, the lock works as it should. I also purchased the G2 gateway and setting up the lock with Alexa went fairly smoothly. Based on other reviews, we'll wait and see how long the lock works. If there's a problem down the road, I'll be back here with another edit.
