Highly recommend after a long day of walking!
I saw this recommended for after a long day walking at Disney World. I ordered these just for that and used it that very first evening when my feet were just so tired from the long day of walking/standing. This product made my feet feel so good and it was easy to put them on and not get all of the ointment in the bootied everywhere! It gives your feet this warm cooling sensation and after usage, your feet will feel like brand new!

Sweet Relief in a Bootie
Finally, a decent product that saves the time and effort of a foot soak! When my feet are aching, I grab a packet, slide my feet into the booties, and relax with my feet up instead of flat in a soak. The booties little sticky flaps are not anywhere near as secure as Fort Knox, but I’m forgiving on that as I’m not trying out a tap dance routine or have the desire run a marathon in them. The feeling of heat takes a bit, like about the time I think they may not heat up is about when the warmth starts up. I think one’s ability to withstand the feeling depends on how sensitive your skin is. If you think Icy Hot is a bit too hot, you probably will not be a fan. I find the sensation to be like a minty throat lozenge for my feet, which fits with the ingredient list. While there’s a bit of relief immediately after use, I really notice it the next day. Love this product! Note: If you are allergic to lavender, you may have issues with this product.

Feels wonderful on tired, achy feet
I work part time as an online, in store shopper at the big blue store. After the end of an 8 hour shift all I want to do is sit down and take off my shoes. These Dr. Scholls foot masks saved my achy feet. While I didn't think it was overly warm while I had the boots on, it did the job. My feet weren't achy for at least a week. They were softer and just felt better overall. Would highly recommend for anyone who works on their feet all day.

It’s like icy hot for your feet
At first the booties look huge but actually have a lot of room. When you slip them on the gel is cold. Be mindful on how you close the tabs, they do come unfastened but has no effect on how it works. I suggest rubbing your feet together to spread it around. After 10 minutes there was really nothing happening. So you can rub again. Between the 10-20 min mark you can feel slight tingling and the outer foil feels warm but inside still coldish gel. Now the last 10 minutes things happen fast. First lukewarm and then boom heat. Which sucks because you kinda want that warming sensation from the start. Package says no more than 30 minutes but it’s enough! When taking off the bootie, do so with a wiping motion to remove any excess. There was very minimal leftover I just rubbed around with my hands until semi dry. The smell isn’t overwhelming and didn’t have any effect on my hands. Now after the 40 min mark it’s still heat and tingles in open air.Overall it’s okay for an icy hot sensation. It does leave skin feeling nice and soft. But having to wait until the time is almost up kinda ruins the experience. Feet are somewhat less achy but in all honesty a foot bath would probably be better.

Amazing, but very HOT sensation!
Amazingly effective, but note that it burns like your feet are on fire!!! Do not plan to use for "spa day" --these are intense, but if you can lean into it, you'll reap the benefit. Like the hottest wet towel you can imagine, but chemically induced (cool to the touch).

My honest thoughts
I'm using these right now as I type on day #2 of San Diego Comic Con, and I've got thoughts. Number one, for those who are saying it's too hot or feels like a burning sensation, they're absolutely right. However, it's not an unpleasant feeling if you are used to using menthol or any menthol-based pain relievers. So in that sense, I really enjoyed using it. Number two, they HAVE to fix the stickers that keep the booties tight around your ankle. The stickiness is non-existent (this is with the backing removed like a normal sticker). Number three, I don't super love the creamy/sticky feeling that is left on my feet after using this product. Overall, I personally wouldn't purchase this again. I would honestly resort to getting a great menthol-based balm, massage that on my own feet, and follow that up with some fluffy socks before bedtime.

Don’t wash off with hot water
I love these little booties! I walk - a lot, for work and school. No car so I also ride my bike.On Sunday’s after my shift I put a pair on, watch a show for 20-30 min the go shower. What I learned this last time - don’t use warm/hot shower water to rinse your feet. The reaction feels like your feet will melt off it stings SO bad.So - wipe you feet off with a paper towel or dry towel first, then rinse with cool water. Then you can get in a shower. As for relief the tingling and soothing is wonderful relief from a long day. It has also helped to keep callus development down.

CAUTION! Be Careful
I really wanted to like this product, but should have read reviews first. Ah the luster of Amazon Prime Day. The price was really a scream, and I jumped in by purchasing several packs, so that I could enjoy after bowling every week. Now, several packs are being returned. When I put the very large aluminum booties on (I was asked if they included a tin hat!) I tried to secure the ankle as the directions stated, but the adhesive would not keep the booties closed tightly. No problem, just sit back and relax, waiting for the warmth…that never came. 30 minutes with these boots on and nothing happened - or so I thought when I took them off and threw them out.My feet were cleaned and dried before slipping in, and again, cleaned the remaining lotion off when the boots were taken off. In fact, due to family history or complications from diabetic foot issues, I’m extremely careful about my feet and to pay close attention to them. A couple of hours later, I noticed these 2 small blisters that appeared out of nowhere! No bueno.I’m genuinely surprised that a Dr. Scholl’s product has failed this way. I tried for less than 1 star, but couldn’t and just wanted to be an additional warning to anyone thinking about this product.
