it is a good metranome and a good price it keeps the timing good, in the cold its a little slow or in the hot its a little off nothing too niticable though and it arived quickly i was a little scared about ordering form amazon but with all i have ordered i think this site is the best :)

I am having trouble with keeping in time with the metronome as it is not marked in beat time, but in speed time, so I think that perhaps I have bought the wrong sort of beat keeper. It does have a note that tings at the beginning of each bar, but I find this a bit irritating and can't find where to turn it off, though I suspect that I can't. For me not the best buy, but could be for someone else who is not wanting it for keeping time on a piano.

I know there are lots of excellent digital metronomes on the market but I wanted something more traditional. This does the job very well. Only just got it but it seems to be robust and well made. It's easy to use - doesn't need batteries! - and gives a reliable steady beat. Exactly what I wanted.

This is a very good value metronome - my first. It is teaching me not to speed up playing my keyboard during the easier passages. Aesthetically it is perfect for the room I have. I do find it a little difficult to push the metronome to start; I'm a bit frightened of breaking the mechanism. But, overall, I am glad I bought it

Excellent quality for the price. Moderately pleasing from an aesthetic point of view and seems to be well engineered. Will probably outlast me!

This has been annoying me for a while and I thought long and hard before posting this review. I hope it helps. As someone else said, this just does not click evenly, which is the only job of a metronome. It is quite noticeable and makes practice very difficult. There's nothing to be done about it. My recommendation would be to spend a tiny bit more on something else, it's one of the cheapest options for a reason. Others seem happy, but my one did not provide a steady count, but a lopsided one.

The tempo indications on this metronome come in shiny gold. Unfortunately this gold rubs off very soon and it becomes hard to read.

Works well, easily understood and settings easily changed, comes with instructions and was well packaged. Does what it is intended to do with no need for batteries. Would recommend.
