Platonic and Archimedean Solids

This is the third Wooden Book I've purchased related to geometric design. They serve as great primers to the subjects within and this particular one helps one to understand the underlying geometries behind three dimensional objects with exploded cutout views to show how you can create them. I would recommend buying this along with the author's two other books in the series - Islamic Design and Ruler & Compass. With those three books you'll be able to create some interesting work if you're a maker and if you're just interested in the subjects they are beautiful little reference books.

I already have 5 Wooden Books and have added to my collection with another 3. The books are all very well made gems, mines of information and the illustrations are excellent.

This book, along with all its companions is packed full of interesting information. Such a good buy!!

Enjoyed this and gives a good explanation on the platonic solid. Good value for money

I'm an art lecturer and this little book gives just the right amount of information to explain what Plato was on about and how they are relevant to drawing. Any student of drawing should see this.

Interesting content, learned a few new things. Comes in a tiny (Cute ish) little wooden style book. Nicely done if you're into that sort of thing.
